I love eating at Pats when I am in McCaysville. Veggies are from fresh produce and remind me of summer even in January. Had the Fried Chicken, green beans, creamed corn and cornbread today. Chicken 3 star, I’ve had better but good. I will try it grilled next time as that is usually my preference. Green beans and creamed corn 5 star. I have not had better. Cornbread 5 star among best I have had. Pat herself seated me and service was kind of by team and they were attentive. Really nice experience all around.

The worst restaurant we have been to in a very long time! We were with a large group and were the first ones to be seated. We ordered our meal right away, same time as we placed our drink order. We waited and waited and waited. Everyone had been served except us. They lost our order… When our food finally arrived they were out of corn bread and promised they would bring some hot bread right away but it never came. When I complained about the poor service they offered free desert. However, the waiter never returned. So, no dessert for us, free or otherwise. Don’t waste your money. Eat at one of the numerous restaurants in town where your business is appreciated.

We have been passing this place for several months, we finally tried it out. My husband loved the catfish & I had the meatloaf. Not as good as I expected. So, to make this review short. We gave this 3 stars only because the catfish apparently was good. We will go back & next time I’ll try the fried chicken. Maybe I can add another star or two

My friends and I were staying in blue ridge and came across Pat’s on Unilocal.Once again, excellent job Unilocal. This food is so delicious and authentic country cooking. Pat herself even brought us our food. Don’t miss the friend green tomatoes, country fried steak, and the homemade dressing! I am definitely bringing my husband here next time. Pat even offered to have a cooking class for us. Excellent experience. Got homemade banana pudding to go. :)

I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s always good! It’s just good olé southern cooking from fresh produce and local trout and meats. It’s priced very cheap for the amount and what you get! I always order trout both grilled and fried. The servers are always sweet and fast to get you anything you please that’s available. The restaurant is family owned and you will see family pictures on the wall. There is a small shop at the front with local crafts, Patsy’s canned goods and many more things. I find it very clean and everything I look for in local flavor! Look at the daily specials too!
