This place should be avoided at all costs. I work in the bldg and try to avoid going here but every now and then when I don’t have time to leave the office. Every time I go I end up regreting it.

I’ve eaten here many times, mainly due to having too much work to take a leisurely lunch outside of the office building. I’ll break this down to the different meals and stations available: Breakfast — There are actually a lot of breakfast options: donuts, muffins, bagels, croissants, biscuits, yogurts, and various egg cheese and meat sandwiches and wraps. For value, i recommend the«Grand Central Biscuit» at $ 2.99, or if you are hungry, the«Times Square Breakfast» at $ 3.99. The bagels and donuts are also pretty good. My major complaint here is that the eggs are microwaved in a styrofoam container, which is re-used for each egg batch. This makes the eggs taste like cancer and makes me usually stick to the bagels or donuts. Lunch Sandwiches — I cannot truly recommend any of these. The bread is bad, the meats are mediocre, and the ladies making them are very unfriendly. The value is there but the quality isn’t. If you have to pick one, I would go with«The Bronx» as a last ditch option. Lunch Buffet/Salad Bar — This is really the best option. There is a selection of salad greens and vegetables, a dedicated taco and baked potato station, and a rotating, seemingly Italian themed station. The zucchini is really good when they have it. In conclusion, this place has food.

Ahhh, good old smelly deli. I eat there often out of desperation. I have also found ways around soggy sandwiches, such as Taco Salad… I use items from the nacho/baked potato bar, AND the salad bar to create the most delicious entrée to come out of the Smel Del EVER. The people are typically nice though. And who doesn’t love the new, improved, insanely color saturated close up food posters on the wall?

Hidden inside an office building. Good pickles. Sandwiches and wraps, salad/pasta bar. Lunch food for the folks working in the area, not much in the way of beverages. Check out the market next door.
