Helga’s Caterers

Helga’s did an excellent job at our wedding on 7÷25÷15! Mike Evans was incredibly helpful and flexible throughout the planning process. He allowed us to do a tasting of menu options and was completely open to changes and substitutions. The food was great, the menu options were extensive, and the prices were so reasonable– much more affordable than any other caterer we looked into! The reception went very smoothly, the setup and cleanup were quick, and the details of the room/​décor/​layout plan were exactly as discussed before the event. I would recommend Helga’s to anyone!

Helga’s catered my brunch wedding on May 17. Their team was prompt in delivery and set up, very polite, and extremely helpful to all of our guests. The buffet set up was practical and beautifully done, and the food tasted amazing. We had so many of our guest compliment the quality and taste of the breakfast. All in all we couldn’t have asked for a better interaction with Helga’s staff pre and during the wedding and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would use them again for a large or small event.

I was the wedding coordinator on behalf of a couple that hired Helga’s Catering for their wedding. I was very impressed with their level of service. They not only provided food but were in charge of all set up, break down, linens, dishes, etc. They drew out a floor plan prior to the wedding, which was very helpful for myself and the bride/​groom. They were also in charge of clean up and I don’t mean just breaking down the tables and clearing out. They vacuumed, among other things, and made the room look as though we were never there. Additionally, they arrived 30 minutes before the vendor start time, to begin set up, eager to get everything started. Of course, the food was great too!

Had a 125 person wedding, would highly recommend Helga’s catering to anyone for any event but especially weddings. They are affordable, and you get way more than you pay for.
We worked directly with Michael the owner. He was accommodating throughout the whole process from my food allergies, to last minute guest dropouts or deciding to comes. They set up most of my wedding and did an amazing job. They are professional, nice, and caring. michael is amazing to work with because of how calm he is, and you feel secure that it will get done the way you want it.
Cannot say enough good things about the entire staff! Use this caterer!

Helga’s catered our wedding of 130 people. Among the caterers from whom we received proposals, Helga’s was a frontrunner from the start because of their professionalism and their helpfulness in terms of sticking to our budget. The delicious tasting helped, too!
Michael helped make the planning process about as pain-​free as it could be (though my many questions may have caused him some pain, but he would never show it!). He and Lynda were extremely responsive and helpful, and they worked with us on every detail from rental equipment to how best to provide certain items (drinks and desserts) on our own. Our wedding reception flowed very smoothly thanks to the help of the catering team captain and his great staff, and our guests greatly enjoyed all of the food. The caterer is such a big part of the wedding reception, and I am so thankful to Helga’s for their role in a successful day!

We worked with Michael for our small-​ish wedding (55 adults and 5 – 6 children).
Throughout the entire process, Michael was helpful, friendly and accommodating. He provided a beautiful spread at an affordable price. His staff were professional, warm and provided excellent service.
Many of the guests told us how good the food tasted. It was delicious. I would use Helga’s again for any event!

Helga’s catered our 100 person wedding in August and they were amazing. The food at the wedding tasted exactly as it had at the tasting (which I have heard is not always true with wedding caterers). The service was amazing. They kept bringing us water and beer and even made a special to-​go box for my husband and I since we barely ate during the reception. They made us a special plate of food for our short quiet time right after the ceremony.
Michael was great with all the logistics. He visited the venue with us when we asked, he made sure every food item was vegetarian (since we had a vegetarian wedding) and was just a great guy to work with.
I didn’t have to worry about anything with the catering. My guests raved about the food! Overall, it was just an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is having a wedding or a large party. My husband and I are going to keep their information for any future parties.
