From the first moment I had a great experience. Jed was on time for our meeting, professional, pleasant and offered competitive prices and several different options for the work I needed. He spent more time than I expected to go over my questions and thoughts and was understanding regarding budget and timing concerns. The crew showed up ahead of schedule (always a plus) and worked quickly and efficiently.
I’ll be using Jed again.

Jed & his team worked at my home for 3 months renovating my backyard.
I selected Jed L. Goehring, Inc. after interviewing several area well-​known landscaping firms. They all came, took detailed notes and provided good solid plans; however, none wowed me. Jed was different. While the others presented a plan, Jed presented a vision — one that he and his team executed perfectly. Since the renovation was extensive, I had a lot of questions throughout the process. Jed always took the time to talk me through each step. Along with his vision, he presented solid plans that strategically utilized our budget.
Jed’s team was always on time, professional, and polite. They brought a level of artistry that I did not expect, resulting in a beautifully designed flagstone patio, a waterfall and rustic stone wall. I will be using Jed Goehring’s services for years to come.

We hired this company to trim trees for us last year. Being new to the area we wanted to hire a top rated local company and Jed seemed to be it. His pricing was higher than others, but he seemed to know what he was doing. We don’t mind paying more for quality work; however, we had to oversee everything his workers did. They worked incredibly slowly, trimmed as little as possible, and had to be reminded of what was on the bid sheet several times. We did not have them do our Crape Myrtles as we were just tapped out money wise. Jed had quoted $ 375 to take off 10 feet of the CM (using ladders). This year the foreman quoted $ 550 w/​o ladders which would have butchered our beautiful old plants. When asked why the difference, the estimator (foreman) came up with fuel costs. Our home is less than a mile from their «headquarters in Jed’s house.» They also claimed it was more expensive to do a small job than a large one. Jed has assured me they could do the work a la carte. I asked about this and even offered to go with the higher bid, as long as they used ladders and only took off 10 feet. Their office manager, Matt, never escalated the problem to Jed and when asked about it, told me I should perhaps go elsewhere if I had a problem with their pricing. I am willing to oversee people working on my property but I am unwilling to work with companies that lack integrity.
