Restaurants in Mc Cormick offer little in atmosphere and this place keeps the status quo. It’s not as scary as it seems from the outside but there really isn’t much going on on the inside either. It’s warm and windowless. The people are nice and the staff seems to do a fine job of cooking Mexican fare for the locals but nothing stands out. Oh wait. The draft beer is cheap, along with the food. I wouldn’t say it’s a go-to place for me but when I have the urge for some cheap Mexican food and don’t feel like driving into Lincolnton, this place will suffice.

Ok so I have taken a hiatus on writing reviews, I had found myself checking into places instead of writing about the place. But this spot feels worthy of breaking my silence. Mccormick South Carolina doesn’t have a lot of restaurants. Besides«Little Italy» the locals really feel like no other sit down restaurants exist. Well this place, although its a don’t judge a book by its cover situation, serves pretty delicious mexican fare at a killer price. While you might need an extra tequila shot for your margarita, the food is served quick and with a smile and is actually delightfully tasty. When me, my boyfriend and his family took us there, there were three people working, and beside our adorable server, there were two guys manning the kitchen and they did a great job. This place was a big surprise because with the limited options you don’t think your gonna drive in from NYC and find a little gem of a mexican restaurant. I had chicken fajitas which came with all the fixing including squash in the onions and peppers for 10.25. Overall I would suggest this place and visit it again when I am in town.
