MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION to Fall Creek Veterinary Medical Center!
My husband and I are long-​time clients; we have entrusted FCVMC staff with our own 3 Shih Tzus as well as many, many dogs who have passed through our home as foster dogs.
As Director of Indy Shih Tzu Rescue, I have had experience with several local Veterinary Clinics, but FCVMC outranks the others by far, for these reasons:
1. EXCELLENT MEDICAL CARE– Dr. Risser’s and Dr. Luth’s medical expertise and bedside manner is top-​notch. While performing thorough exams, they provide easy-​to –understand explanations and options. They have never been condescending, nor have they recommended unnecessary testing or procedures. The Veterinary Technicians, under Kalie’s leadership, work closely with the Dr’s, and they are highly skilled– the best I have ever seen.
2. EXCELLENT CLIENT/​CUSTOMER CARE– Members of the office staff are very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and hardworking. The office runs smoothly, from my perspective, as they are nearly always on-​time. The only exception might be in the case of an emergency.
3. EXCELLENT GROOMERS & KENNEL STAFF– Heads and shoulders above others in my experience.
4. COMMUNITY SERVICE and COMMITMENT TO RESCUE & SHELTER ANIMALS– Simply unparalleled– Dr. Risser and his staff have saved countless lives and provided top quality medical care for animals who need it most.

Although our family has moved from McCordsville to the Southside of Indy, our dogs’ health and well-​being is definitely worth the 45 minute drive to FALL CREEK VETERINARY MEDICAL CENTER!

The veterinarians at Fall Creek Veterinary Medical Center are the only people I’d trust to care for my dog, Lucy. The entire staff is professional, and the doctors are knowledgable, empathetic, and always listen to my questions and concerns about my dog. Dr. Luth provides exceptional care for Lucy and understands Lucy is an important part of my family.
As a testament to their caring practice, the clinic is having to expand to a new building to accommodate all their clients. Looking forward to taking Lucy to see the new clinic!

Attended this clinic from March 2015 to September 2015 and have had nothing but issues. My dogs have had anal gland issues, ear infections and needed preventative medications. Each time I went in I was assured everything is fine and nothing else was needed. Fast forward to my new vet and he proved that the anal gland issues were actually an anal abbess, the constant ear infections were caused by bad allergies and Fall Creek «forgot» to notify me when it was time to put my puppies on certain preventative treatments for heart worms/​roundworms/​etc. I will never go back and since I’ve left I have had 3 other friends/​co workers that have had the same issues with this vet.

What can I say… Dr. Risser finally solved my girls problem and now she is on the road to recovery.
The Center reminded us of our old center in Des Plaines, IL and the service matched the expectations our girl deserves.
Quite impressed with the Operation Dr. Risser has there and looking forward to having him and his staff take care of our dog in the future.

Dr. Risser and his staff are some of the most caring people, and the type you want taking care of your four legged friends.
We have been coming to Dr. Risser for 4+ years with our dog. In this time, we also have had a cat that has needed some emergency visits for various urinary tract blockages.
Sadly, in February, I noticed our cat had something a-​typical and it ended up being Squamous cell carcinoma. Dr. Risser took the time to explain what it was, what our options are and provided a very professional and non-​emotional overview so we could make an unbiased decision as far as how to proceed with the news. It was one of the most professional interactions I can remember with any type of doctor (animal or human!)
Sadly we had to make a tough decision earlier this week about what to do with our cat who was in so much pain. The level of concern, compassion and professionalism that the entire office had made the moment as comfortable as possible.
Then much to our surprise, we received a note/​expression of the office’s sympathy the day after we had to say goodbye. This was completely unexpected. This speaks VOLUMES to the care and concern this office gives each of its patients.
I highly recommend Dr. Risser to anyone looking for a vet in the Northeast Indy/​suburbs area.
