Maywood Park… hmmmm. Not situated in the best neighborhoods in town. 1.5 softball/​baseball fields. The park is situated right next to a noisy gas factory (the humming sound from the factory went on all day). There’s street parking but watch out for the fly balls. Some trees for shades. Dirty and nasty bathrooms. The fields are pretty much dirty fields. :(
Luckily there’s a YMCA next door which brightens up Maywood Park a bit. Not such a good park. Neighbor’s sketchy as well.

I remember coming here as a kid during the summer… awesome time!
Since then, the park has been remodeled and it’s looking way better. They offer many activities for all ages, they have a gym available for the community, and they have a head start for children ages 3 – 5 with a capacity of 20 children.
The reason why I come here is to enjoy some alone time. In the mornings you will see people walking/​jogging around the park. In the afternoons you’ll have kids with their parents in the playground and sometimes in the evenings you’ll see some softball games.
