Was hoping to find a good stopover on the Double A. Would rather sleep in the car before I’d stay here again. — Desk lady at checkin was super friendly but advised that the wireless internet doesn’t work and neither does the side-wing door. She told me I’d need to bring my dog through the lobby even though it’s clearly posted you’re not supposed to bring dogs through there. — Desk lady at checkout seemed super grouchy, probably because i brought my dog through the lobby and possibly the employees are not all on the same page about the side-wing door. Awesome. — Mold. On the refrigerator, and in the bathroom. The toilet leaks, which causes mold on the floor and the wall. There were clear attempts to caulk over the mold, but in that scenario you actually need to fix the leak before cleaning and then caulking. — Dirty bathtub. Really the housekeeping just doesn’t seem to pay attention to details — the shampoo container was almost empty… those are generally supposed to be new. — Old carpets, and room didn’t feel clean. — Would appreciate if they would rethink the astronomical $ 20 pet fee if the room is barely going to be clean enough to let my dog walk around. I had to constantly keep her away from the mold and stains on the carpet. I’m okay with paying $ 10 pet fee, and $ 20 if the place is SUPER nice, but not $ 20 for a room I don’t even want my dog walking around in. DONOTSTAYHEREWITHCHILDREN. It is not clean. Stay here only if your other alternative is to fall asleep at the wheel. And even then, save yourself the $ 60 and sleep in your car.
