This place has a bad delivery service. I ordered kitchen appliances and they made me pay for it once and wait twice for it. When the installers came, the appliences never came to my house!

This place is great largely because of it’s customer service. Armando is a perfect example. He works in the appliances section. We had a recent credit that had expired. Brought the details to his attention and he was on top of it. The entire transaction took roughly around 10 minutes and it was all taken care of. The rest of his team was just great as well. Everyone was helping every customer on the floor. Just like a well run business. If every store has management that sets examples by action, the team follows suit. I guess that is the trick of the retail industry. And Armando did a great job setting up a very fine example at that. Very well done!

Fantastic place to go to, but, what made it so great was a young man by the name Guy, hope I’m spelling it right. We wanted to buy a lawn mower and this young man came to us on his way to helping another customer and said, «I’ll be right back to help you guys out!» He came back almost instantly and helped us pick out a nice lawn mower. He was pleasant and very informative! This is the way customer service should work; fast and easy! We bought a very nice lawn mower and we’ll be testing it out tomorrow morning. Thanks Guy for giving us a nice experience at Sears!

I took my little sister to the mall to find a dress for her first homecoming. After not finding much at any of the other stores, we decided to try Sears on a whim. She found a dress she really liked, but she wanted to check one more store before we left. I asked a girl who was working there if they could hold the dress while we checked one more store. Her response was, «Ummmmmmmm… we’re really not supposed to.» I asked her if she really thought it would be a problem to hold the dress for 20 minutes. She gave me an exasperated look and said«Uhhh… I guess, but I really shouldn’t.» Seriously?! If my sister didn’t like the dress so much, I would have just told her to stick it. We ended up coming back for it and there were no employees to be found but it was hanging on a rack at the register we left it at so I grabbed it and began my search for an open register. Then we had employees who were working right next to the register send me to three different department registers before one girl acquiesced after I told her I wasn’t going to another one. I was not impressed with the customer service, especially since the store was dead.
