I’ve been camping here seasonally since I was a little kid, so just about 20 years. What’s not to love? It’s quiet, right on the Great Egg Harbor River, nice big pool, clean showers and a brand new clubhouse. The owners also host several functions for campers including pool parties and pot lucks.
Seasonal fees are also very affordable, especially compared to other campgrounds in the area. There are docks and a boat ramp for the boaters and a nice «beach» area where kids can play. The location is great too. Atlantic City and Ocean City are only about 15 minutes away, and Wildwood is about 35 minutes away.
River Beach is a great place to go if you are like me and can’t choose whether you prefer a camping or beach vacation, because this gives you both!
The only thing I would change is that I would like to see the pool hours extended a little later, perhaps till 7 or 8 o’clock, even if it’s just on weekends, during the hot summer months.
