Bubba Brew’s Sports Pub & Grill

Uh oh! This place was a 4 and ½ last year. What happened, i love this place. I heard there was a change in ownership. Us Unilocalers have seen this a million times, downhill slide we go. Food was ok, service was bla, bla, bla. Super slow we got aggravated and we werent even in a hurry. The good thing was there was plenty staff runnin around but what thw heck were they doing. Five employees chillin at the front door in chairs that didnt even un slouch to greet us. Told us we can go on in like we were lucky to be allowed to be there. This place was about 40 percent capacity. Not to their fault but staff seemed way undertrained.
Please new ownership, this place can be great. Dont let it slip away by lack of management

Looking forward to visiting after checking out their website. Not many bars on Norris Lake and this looked like a good one. Staff were really friendly and service was excellent. It was a slow time since kids are back in school and summer is about over. We ordered the seafood platter and what a mistake. We should have sent it back since it was grossly overcooked, but we ate what we could. When you walk down the pier to get to Bubba’s you pass some pathetic old pontoons that are full of moss and algae. How appetizing is that.

Great atmosphere if you want to have a few domestic brews and greasy food basket meals. Hanging out on the floating restaurant playing corn hole and lounging on the patio chairs is fun. They have a buffet that’s ok if you eat mediocre BBQ and traditional sides. There is absolutely nothing green on the menu. But then again you don’t really go here for the food …
