The Flower Pot

I ordered an arrangement for a friend, to be delivered to her apartment in Maynard. Kathy personally called me when the delivery driver couldn’t get buzzed into the apartment. She ended up calling the landlord personally so that the flowers could be left inside the building and not risk being stolen if placed outside. I was so appreciative! The service was prompt, friendly, and really above and beyond what I would typically expect. A great way to run a business!!! :)

This shop is phenomenal when it comes to customer service! I have ordered with them in the past, and continue to use their store because of how reliable they are. Today I sent an order for a wake and accidentally put the delivery date as tomorrow when it should have been today. I just notice and called up the shop, and the lovely woman I spoke with had already looked up the obituary to double check the date of the wake, and she was sending them out as we spoke. Truly the best customer service. So friendly and thorough with their work.

I just put in a last minute online order for next day delivery and unfortunately they were out of the sunflowers I wanted. I received a call almost immediately from Kathy (?) who was amazingly helpful. She was able to recommend another arrangement which worked perfectly. Clearly passionate about both the flowers and their customer satisfaction.

I have been a customer of The Flower Pot for at least 10 years, but realistically, only buy a few times a year. I recently purchased an arrangement for my wife for her birthday. The arrangement was beautiful and she loved it but for whatever reason after 24 hours it wasn’t looking too good. I reached out to the owner via email late at night and early the next morning she had already reached out to me offering to make it right. They bent over backwards and really wowed my wife. They took the issue very seriously and I can’t thank them enough. I will continue to be a customer of the Flower Pot and highly recommend them.

I ordered the luxurious indulgence chocolate basket for a really important vendor of mine and they were very impressed and pleased by what they received. Kathy (@ the Flower Pot) was VERY helpful and cheerful throughout the entire ordering process and her work was outstanding. Ordering remotely one typically never knows what they’re going to get. Well, Kathy even emailed me a photo of the basket. That’s just superb service. The Flower Pot is one of those rare places where people simply love what they do. I am just grateful they exist and wish more companies out there were like them.

This place is awesome. One Word KATHY! She did my wedding flowers and went above and beyond what I expected from any florist. Prices were so reasonable as well. I have been getting compliments 5 years later on my center pieces and bouquet. I haven’t gone to another florist since. I have gone back for my grandmothers funeral which again Kathy was so helpful with and the flowers were exceptionally elegant, my family was so grateful. I have used them for just about every other floral need one can possibly have. I can’t recommend this place enough! You’d be a fool to go anywhere else. SUPERB!

I’ve always received friendly, helpful service at The Flower Pot. I purchased some flowers from here and made my own wedding bouquet, and they recently made the perfect wrist corsage for my son’s sophomore dinner dance date. Would highly recommend!

My sister ordered a living arrangement for me for Christmas. It is absolutely stunning! She said the florist was delightful to deal with over the phone, very accommodating.

By far the cheapest quote I got for flowers for my wedding, and still absolutely gorgeous and exactly how I envisioned everything. The arrangements are just as beautiful as you’ll find anywhere else, but by far the best prices and great customer service!

So I have never actually been to the store, and I wont comment on that. But my experience with the staff, service and product — WOW!
So I had a friend that works near Maynard. Well, is in Boxboro, so I did a search on Unilocal for the closest flower store since I didnt know the area. There were some good reviews, so I called them up!
I spoke with karen. She was VERY helpful, accommodating, and answered all my questions. I dont know much about flowers, but I know what looks good. (ok, I know what my friend thinks looks good. ha)
So she put together an arrangement, and set up delivery for the next day (convenience and speed is always good. i called at 4 pm and she was able to deliver the next day!)
The flowers and arrangement — WOW. exceeded my expectations based on the VERY reasonable cost, and looked great and were fresh.
needless to say, my friend was FLOORED and very happy as well.
So if you are in the area looking for a good florist, or need delivery within a decent range of Maynard, definitely give Karen a call or stop in.

The flowers at our wedding absolutely stole the show. I can’t recommend Kathy highly enough. She went above and beyond the call of duty for our event. I came to her rather late in the planning process with a few pictures of arrangements that I liked. She immediately understood, worked on ideas, checking in with me as she went. And the arrangements that she came up were absolutely stunning — and so creative!
Kathy was beyond helpful. She was one of the high points of our wedding planning experience. The Flower Pot totally exceeded my expectations.

My husband has been getting me beautiful flowers here for years. When it came time for us to pick a florist for our wedding, he knew exactly where we should go. The Flower Pot worked out perfectly.
Kathy met with us initially to go over our ideas. She made some great suggestions and we put together a plan. When it came to buying accessories for the flowers, Kathy was honest with us and said we should buy them ourselves because whatever she would charge would be more than we’d pay at a craft store.
Kathy had us come in about a month later, after she had ordered some of the flowers we wanted, for a preview and to tweak the plan. We had almost no changes to what she had initially suggested.
She then had me come in the day before the wedding to look over everything in case I had any last-​minute changes. Everything looked perfect and it was nice to know that all of our flowers were ready to go.
Kathy was immensely helpful and friendly throughout the entire process (she even tried to help us find caterers and a reception venue when our original one fell through). Her prices were completely reasonable and the flowers were gorgeous. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.
