Pad Thai not as good as it was several years ago(so no 5 stars) but still the best Thai in the area

Best Thai food in this area. I recommend the butternut squash curry. And the staff there is very friendly. It is a nice small-town Thai place, and one of my top choices locally.

Small, but cozy. The prices are pretty typical and the food is pretty good. The pad Thai isn’t great, but the coconut soup is Excellent!

My wife and I went there a couple of times. Very tasty food and professional service. Will come back to try the crazy noodles.

Found this place a little remote to go and have gone back twice now. We love it there. The scallion pancakes and spring rolls are to die for. The food wasn’t greasy what you get with most pad Thai joints. This is one of our go to spots. i’m a Chinese food lover and this is converting me over. Love it keep up the good work guys!

Pleased to say we have seen a lot of improvement over the last year and are back to ordering takeout regularly!

This place is a wonderful little gem in Maynard, Mass. My friends and I try to have lunch every Wednesday. They serve the best ginger soup at lunch time. We usually get the scallion pancakes, Thai rolls and steamed dumplings. Always cooked perfectly. I usually order the tofu pat Thai lunch. It is so yummy, with so much flavor. Also like the mango fried rice with cashews. If your looking for great Thai, this is your place! You’ll be glad you did.

LOVE this place! The crispy duck is always delicious and cooked perfectly. The pad thai always has generous portions of chicken and shrimp, and the scallion pancakes are never soggy. We love having That Chili aright down the road.

A disappointment. We had two dishes, both of which were cloyingly sweet.

Really good Thai food! Strongly recommend the spicy basil pad Thai, vegetarian pad thai and drunken noodles. The rice soup is flavored with chunks of ginger and is delicious. Great atmosphere in the restaurant but also the perfect take out food.

I really wanted to love this place since I live nearby, but… We went on a Thursday night and there was only server in the restaurant who also had to function as the hostess, bus boy, cashier, and had to answer the phone, taking orders, deal with walk-ins who were either ordering take-out or picking up orders! She was a very nice person, but it was impossible for her to do it all. I truly felt sorry for her. But service suffered: a long time to take our order, brought one soup rather than two, white rice instead of brown and it took forever to get our check and our leftovers boxed. The tomyum soup was good, an eggplant dish ok, and the Pad Thai Basil dish awful. It was probably the worst Pad Thai dish I have ever had. The sauce was so thick the dish was a soggy mess. The sauce was so heavy, no other tastes(shrimp, chicken, noodles, etc.) came through. It had tofu in it, even though there was no mention of tofu in the description on the menu. It had no scallions even though the menu said it had scallions. Even though basil was supposed to distinguish it from the regular Pds Thai, there were only three soggy leaves in the whole dish and the stems had not been removed. In terms of ambience, the restaurant is badly in need of renovations.

Been here twice for lunch. Had the crispy chicken pad thai the first time and tried the panang curry duck the second time. Both times the food was quite tasty, it had good flavors and for thai food it was pretty good. The ambiance is cozy. The service was good and timely. The prices are affordable. Definitely give it a try if you are around the Acton-Maynard area.

Spicy pad Thai! This place tastes like they actually cook it fresh and not microwave everything. So good!

Really good! Can’t speak to the décor since I have only ordered take-out, but their pad see-ew, pad thai, and scallion pancakes are great!

Small, dark, quiet restaurant in downtown Maynard. Waitress was not very friendly. Had the drunken noodles and the seafood boat. Both dishes were good not great. Thai ice tea was OK. The view of the cars parked on the street and«dog wash» across the street were the only entertainment.

Love this place — eat in or take out. Everything I have had there is great and the staff is friendly, the place is clean. It’s small but they don’t tend to seat you on top of each other like they do in some restaurants. Lots of vegetarian options.

Great Thai food, excellent place for lunch or dinner in your in the area. It has changed owners but is still«in the family» and still producing very good food. The service is polite and efficient. They do excellent Pad Thai, Satay and Curries — Red, Green and Masaman. The Thai Rolls are the best I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommend Thai Chili in Maynard.

We got takeout, but the food is always quite good; hot and made to order(which is great because I can’t have fish oil, and she is allergic to nuts, and a vegetarian). Living in Maynard the convenience factor is high, the sit-down portion of the restaurant is quaint, and is a nice place for a quiet dinner.

Unilocal calls two stars«Meh, I’ve experienced better», and that’s exactly how I feel about Thai Chili. We usually eat at Thai Jasmine in Westford but hubby was working late in Littleton so I looked around for where I could get him some takeout. I ordered the pad see ew, yellow curry, and a green salad since they were out of fresh rolls. The takeout service was fine, but when I arrived the restaurant had a bad smell, like old cooking grease. Not encouraging. When we opened our food, the green salad was mostly wilted or downright rotted leaves of bagged spring mix — a bad start. The yellow curry was thin, watery, overly sweet, and had very little curry flavor. Mostly onions and few veggies. The pad see ew was mediocre at best, with soggy overcooked broccoli and an uninspired sauce that lacked the usual flavors of this dish. I won’t be ordering from here again, which is too bad.
