I received a gift certificate for my birthday for an hour facial. Serenity was relaxing from the moment I walked in and the staff is very professional.
I would’ve given them 5 stars if they didn’t have a policy where they need your credit card on file in case you no show. I’ve never experienced a spa who had this policy and it was a turn off. That will stop me from returning, I always show for my appointments and I don’t think it’s appropriate to ask for someone’s CC information to «hold» onto.

My boyfriend and I got a couples massage here as a gift last year and liked it, so we got another one this year. The gift certificate had my appointment date and my mom assured it was all set because she knew I was only in town for a short time. Our appointment was 2 days after Christmas, so the place was busy. Seemed chaotic to me (receptionist wasn’t there, confused massage therapist trying to check people in and running around — not what I wanna see at a spa).
When we finally got checked in, the owner and the manager took us to a room to explain that the receptionist did not actually put our appointment in the computer and confirm it, so they gave it away. After apologizing a lot (but at the same time making it seem like it was our fault?), they offered us a free sauna treatment and a foot detox. I was happy that they had something to offer us that day (since we set aside time to come here), but I was also disappointed that we wouldn’t be getting a massage. It was also sort of awkward that the manager had to assist us with treatments because it really isn’t his job, so I felt bad. We had to reschedule for two days later and had a pretty good massage.
The place is very nice, clean, organized, and relaxing. Would have been great without the mix up. If you live in the area, I would try this place out. And if you have a gift card, you better call and confirm even if they say the appointment is yours when the gift card is purchased. I like this place but it is hard to get over my annoyance about the mix up.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is so very friendly and the facility is the most cleanest place I have ever been in. I love the smell of the atmosphere it brings a calm to you. I have visited this location on 3 different occasions for the infrared sauna. I love the privacy of the sauna and also the clean room. The staff is very kind and helpful with all of your needs. Even if I had to, I couldn’t find one thing wrong with this place.

Best facials, massages, and yoga/​pilates classes in town! Awesome staff and Deitra the owner is the absolute BEST :) beautiful and peaceful escape, highly recommend!

When you call an actual person answers! I had trouble having other massage places just pick up their phone. I was pleased from the moment I walked in till the moment I left. I recently started boot camps and I am really sore. The massage helped a lot and was very good. The facility is really clean and peaceful. I am considering doing the VIP service! P. S. They were even able to fit me in the day I called! Great Customer Service!

I had an amazing facial with Martha today! The facial left me feeling refreshed and relaxed, my skin looks & feels super healthy. She gave a wonderful neck, shoulder, arm & hand massage, too. Honestly I would have paid twice as much for this quality of services.
The products are organic and smelled so good — I bought a few of them to use at home. The facility is clean, modern, and beautifully appointed. If I lived in town this would be my regular spa for sure.
It was such a great experience that I bought a gift card to treat my mom! I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in town.

My fiancée and I just finished our couples massage. It was the best massage we have ever had! Our therapists did a great job of listening to us and what we wanted to focus on. The premier room was relaxing and soothing too. We definitely will be back!

I used to love Serenity until I called to book an appointment and found that if I did not leave a credit card for them to charge in the event I was a no show. I was informed that it was their new policy. I have used their massage services several time and the gentleman answering the phone could see my history in the computer I still could not book unless I let a card for them to charge. So I will no longer be using them for any services. I see that the dollar is more important to them. And yes I do understand if a person does not show up for scheduled appointments the therapist looses money, which is why I have a history in your computer of keeping my appointments. Please consider not punishing people who are responsible and honest.

My wife and I did a couples massage. We came a little early so they gave us a free sauna till our appointment started. The therapists seemed to know what they were doing as opposed to other massage therapists we have been to.

Got eyebrows waxed here, and it was a QUALITY job. My only complaint was that, even with an appointment, I was left waiting in the waiting room for 20 minutes. Minor annoyance compared to the quality work!

My daughter bought me the VIP membership, so I go once a month for a facial or massage. It is a little slice of heaven. Not sure how it gets any better than this. The staff is always professional and attentive, and the care they give to detail and making sure the experience is perfect was beyond my expectations. I cannot recommend it any more highly. I feel like a new person when I leave, as does my skin.

My mother-​in-​law and I each had 60-​minute massages and they were wonderful. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them.

Great people, great service, and the best value in the area. They do a nice job packaging for different needs and price points. I felt very welcome in the type of place that can be intimidating.

This place is horrible at waxing. Do not waste your time or your money. I left having spent close to $ 100 for a leg wax and my legs were still hairy. I have never had this problem before. The next day I went to another spa. They were able to wax my legs to complete smoothness. This spa felt so bad about my experience at Serenity that they gave me a discount on their services. Stay away from Serenity.

I can’t recommend this place for waxing services. I had never been waxed before but with my vacation approaching I thought it might be nice to not have to shave. I made an appointment and was very pleased with the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was also friendly and professional, however, my aesthetician was Alicia and my waxing results were dreadful.
I had let the hair grow for a month so the length was not the problem but when I returned home after my wax I noticed my legs and underarms were covered with short, spiky hairs. Obviously the hair hadn’t been removed from the root but had only been cut short. And she had even forgotten to wax some spots and had left patches of hair.
I called to complain and the manager apologized and asked me come in for a cleanup 2 days later. I appreciate that the manger did her best to rectify the situation. I came in for a rewax and was also given a complimentary foot detox and a $ 30 gift card. But after my clean up wax my legs still felt spiky because the short hairs that were caused by my first wax weren’t long enough to be pulled out a second time. I wasted $ 65 and ended up having to shave during my vacation. Go elsewhere for waxing services.

This is a unique place compared to the rest in that it offers more therapeutic treatments, including things like life coaching. I love that I can get a massage, followed by a relaxing infrared sauna session. The spa itself is clean, nicely decorated, and serene. Their no tipping policy makes it a good value. The owner is around a lot and loves to generously dole out hugs. My only negative comment is that I wish they had more experienced massage therapists on hand. Otherwise, it’s a great place to detox and de-​stress from life.

As a 40 year old man I don’t go to spas often, that might change now. I highly recommend this establishment. The owner, Deitra, is FANTASTIC!!! First class all the way. No need to shop around hands down the best spa in the area!!!

So happy we stumbled upon this hidden jewel while visiting the Toledo area. The services, the staff and the owner were so accommodating. My only regret is that I don’t live in the are so I can become a regular! Wonderful experience!
