Schlotzsky’s

I usually get my food from here in the drive thru (which is very convenient) but today I ate inside. All of the staff were very nice and on top of their game, location was clean, and I got my food fast. They bring it to your table, which I love.
As for the food… I go there for the salads. It is rare that you can get a good sized salad with chicken on it for less than $ 8. I get the grilled chicken Caesar with Italian instead of Caesar. It is served with bread. They know what’s up. I always need a little something extra when I order a salad.
My only beef with them is that they give you very small water cups. But if that’s my only complaint it tells me I had a pretty good experience. Definitely will be back for salad, but I have also tried the sandwiches here and they’re tasty as well. Try it out.

If only they built one closer to the cesspools that make up metro Detroit. I simply love Schlotzskys and the divine flavors of The Original. Yum yum yum this make my tum tum tummy purrrr with delight.
Staff is always friendly and helpful for those unfamiliar with the menu. An extra delight is the store branded bag of chips that comes with your meal. Their chips would be my exclusive brand if they sold them in stores.
Here is a tip: they sell their sourdough bread separately and it makes a great addition to breakfast the next morning. Warm it up and add a pad of butter, purrrr.

Schlotzky’s may be ‘fast food’, but it’s of good quality and the service is exceptional.
I like being able to go into a place that makes deli-​type sandwiches in a short period of time.
All of their bread is so light and airy… especially the sour dough.
Schlotzsky’s is always clean, which is a major plus, and, if you don’t feel like standing around waiting for your food, they’ll bring it out to your table.
The bottom line: Toledo needs more Schlotzky’s Delis.

Decided to try the place out for the first time today after passing it by for years and was very pleasantly surprised. I assumed it was your typical deli style restaurant with limited sub sandwich options and I was wrong! I’m always on the lookout for an excellent salad and this place really hit the mark! Awesome fresh ingredients and incredibly friendly staff made this an awesome experience for my fiancé and I. I will definitely go back again and again!

Great place for lunch. Obviously pricey but The Original is fantastic when I want a change from a quick salad.

This is a great lunch place. They have a lot of things on the menu and the service is excellent. I don’t know what the older guy’s name is, but he really makes this Schlotsky’s special. Like another reviewer said, he sometimes sings your order number. He also ALWAYS has a smile on his face and is happy to be at work. As a matter of fact, everyone there is friendly and helpful. Can’t say this about most restaurants!
I always get the veggie sandwich with jalepeno chips. It is excellent. My family has had a variety of salads, sandwiches, and pizzas and has never been disappointed. The Wed and Sat night pizza deal is worth mentioning, as it is a fantastic personal pizza for only $ 2.49. Love it!

Fantastic bread. I dont know how they do it but thats what I would go here for. Oh and the sandwiches and soups are pretty good too. Overall, give it a try; well worth your time.

Stopped in off of I-​80 for lunch since there was very slim pickings along our route. Got the combo #2 (smoked turkey sandwich) and my boyfriend got the turkey cranberry special. I was not impressed. The lunch meat was prepackaged, not shaved off a slicer or even attempted to look like it was. Our sandwiches had no taste to them whatsoever. Also, kind of pricey for what ytpu get. Small combo was $ 7. Only positive was the variety available… lots of menu items.

I don’t get these mediocre ratings of this place! The food is superb and perfectly presented every time with kind people serving it up yet to boot! Maumee doesn’t know how good they have it. I miss having one closer to where I live. Be grateful and patronize this fine establishment, people!

Great sandwiches and Pizza’s with fresh bread and meats. a tad pricey for what you get. My fiancé and I dine here every WED for the $ 2.49 pizza special that they have every WED and SAT, that is a great deal and I would recammend trying it out.

Hidden gem in Toledo, excellent service and while the food is a tad unhealthy, it is very good.

Delicious! My wife said that there used to be locations in Indiana… I wish they would come back because the food is great!

It is a large national chain w/​some cool local specific features.
When you place your order for the pizza shaped sandwich, you receive a ticket to use when it is ready. Now for the two unique parts to this place;
1)The order, if on the right day, is sung to you when it is ready. I have been here twice in a year and each time this older gentleman sings when your order is up. It is cool for the customers but may get old for the staff.
2) There is free Wi-​Fi and Apple PCs available for use. This place is like a public library.
Overall — decent food, cool atmosphere… tra-​la-​la-​la…

This Schlotzsky in general is a nice one. They are generally the same… but this one loads on the meats and things for ya and makes you feel special… lol. If it was another one, it would be a 3 star… especially the fact that it is a chain you can find all over. In different areas they have a different menu though, as I found when I went to a few of them elsewhere and they didn’t have my favorite sandwich. (Panini Italiano) It is the best sandwich there… with ham and salami, along with mozzarella, tomato pesto on grilled sourdough. The pizzas are really good also. I love the soups and salads as well and have had a good experience every time at this certain one. It can get a little pricey but good for a quick lunch sometimes.

Schlotzsky’s makes an interesting sandwich. They come on toasted sourdough bread, and have a mixture of seasoning/​dressing/​something that is unique. I actually didn’t like them the first time I had one, but they grow on you. I suppose it is an acquired taste. It is definitely the place to go if you aren’t in the mood for another boring deli sandwich.
However, the REAL reason to go to Schlotzsky’s is the pizza. They have little 8″ pizzas that are just amazing. As with the sandwiches, they throw a mixture of herbs or something on the pizza that gives it really great flavor.
This place is essentially an upscale fast food place, so expect to pay more than McD’s and BK, but also expect better food.
