I had the most wonderful experience at this vineyard last month! Having spent every summer of my life on the north fork, I’ve been to dozens of wineries. Sherwood is my absolute favorite! The setting was beautiful, the staff was wonderfully kind and welcoming, and the wine was great! I learned more about wine during this tasting than any other, and didn’t feel like I was in a snobby atmosphere (which can be found elsewhere on the island for sure). I went for my bachelorette party, and while other wineries were not welcoming, I felt that Sherwood was happy to be a part of celebrating, and their atmosphere is a happy and fun one! Many thanks for a terrific experience!

Best tasting rooms (yes, plural — they just opened a second) but more importantly, best wines in the Nork Fork region. This place is exceptional.
Try and go every year and leave with cases of wine — and equally impressive is the uniqueness of each of their tasting rooms. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgable and with all the wine tasting my husband and I do it is hands down the best vineyard in Long Island.
