Tsing Tao has redone the inside again. Gone are most of the carpets(the back room may have some), replaced with tile. The buffet tables are moved to the side — they seem to be about the same size, though. What used to be a hibachi grill area is now only a sushi bar. The problem is that the food has gone way downhill. I’m not talking downhill to standard buffet fare, I’m talking past that. Way past that. It’s possible that if they are busy, the food would be fresh. But when we were there, no one else was. If you get there in such a state? Keep going. The food on the buffet looked as if it had been there most of the day. Even the sushi was sparse at best. About the only thing that was even decent was the soups. That was probably because the amount of liquids kept them from drying out. Lo mein and rice were dried out, like worms after a rain storm. Meat was like jerky. Sweet Tea Report: Interestingly, the sweet tea was pretty okay and I’m not sure why. It almost tasted like a sweetened green tea. I don’t think that I would go just for the tea, and I don’t think I would give them another chance, even if they redo the inside(yet) again, but if you’re there for some reason, you may want to give it a try.
