The first and last time I’ll go here. I went in wanting to have done a cut, style and color. At the time I had full highlights that had grown out to a ombré type thing so I get I might have to wait longer for my hair color I was wanting (dark brown) to even out. My stylist tried over and over to color my hair after trying to re-​dye it a couple times and I still had spots of blonde in my hair. She told me to come back in 2 weeks and she’ll try again. I ended up going elsewhere. It was such an inconvenience to me that I would’ve had to go back multiple times for something that should’ve been right the first time and would’ve had to pay more for.

Christa is a fabulous hairstylist, she is always up on the latest trends and has fresh ideas every time I see her. The salon is very welcoming and it feels more like visiting a friend than going to a salon. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and on Saturday mornings there are always fresh homemade donuts from Moms Donuts in Matthews. I stumbled upon Drift and I couldn’t be happier, I will keep on returning. Give it a try, you won’t regret it I promise.

I went today for the first time. Marie is by far the best stylist I have ever had. She took her time and talked with me first about my concerns and what I wanted to achieve with my hair. She really listened. I love my hair!!! The cut really compliments my face and the color is perfect. Thanks Marie. I will keep coming back.

Love, love, love this place! The décor is warm and inviting. Everyone is so personable. I’ve lived in the Charlotte area for about 8 years, I have not been able to find a place that could put red highlights in my hair, until I came here. I would HIGHLY recommend Sara. Not only was she able to put vibrant red highlights, in my incredibly stubborn black hair, but she made it so the color lasts. It didn’t fade to an awful pink, it maintained the red color. She has a wonderful personality and isn’t one of those overly yappy people. She also didn’t try to push a million different products on me. Jen blew out my hair and she has cut my boyfriend’s daughter’s hair, she did a wonderful job. She is very laid back and knowledgeable. All of the staff/​stylist are friendly, not snooty at all. I finally found «my» salon after 8 years!
