Compounding pharmacists are able to custom tailor drug dosages and the delivery agents they come in (powders, liquids, creams) to the individual patient’s needs (working with your health care provider of course).
I am able to obtain dessicated thyroid here with my prescription. He is able to give very specific doses based on the lab testing my NP orders. His product testing is second to none.
So many of our generic prescriptions now come from un-​inspected factories in China and India (why do you think the big chains sell them to you for only $ 6.00 a month?); it is reassuring to have someone local prepare them for me.
