Washing Well Laundromat & Dry Cleaning

This place continues to be clean and friendly. I’ve gotten good service from both the mother and the daughter who were in attendance during different visits. This is my go-​to laundromat.

Went here today to wash a comforter — I must have had a deer in the headlights look (I don’t frequent laundromats much) — and the attendant on duty asked me right away if I needed help, directed me to the best sized washer for my load, helped me get things going and even struck up some friendly conversation while I was waiting.
Very clean place, seemed a little pricey ($ 4.25 for wash/.75c for 20 mins dry) but I usually use the washer/​dryer in my apartment complex for $ 1.75 so this may be average.

When I came in, the attendant who was there was not pleasant. When I asked her which cold water setting she would recommend for my down alternative comforter, she seemed annoyed and told me whatever I want. So much for her professional opinion? Later, I asked if she had a paper towel to clean up a spill, she had an attitude again and said all she had was a rag. Okay. Thanks. Another attendant came by and said I used too much detergent and said to buy a softener. Since I did not want to use a softener nor did I think I could, I asked her what she wants me to do. Nothing. So I decided to wash it again.?Another client tried to «assist me» and wanted to debate with me about how I should have washed my down comforter (I explained it’s a down alternative). Then when the machine ate my quarter and I asked for assistance, I waited patiently. I showed the attendant what happened. She wanted to try another quarter. When it worked, she refused to believe that it did not take my first quarter. She then proceeded to deny that it could have happened, and would not replace the quarter. I said okay then I just won’t use this machine again. The client then gets an attitude with me and offers a quarter and says it’s not a big deal. I decline politely and she begins to argue with me. She calls me a «fucking bitch». The attendant walks away and refuses to say anything to the client who is arguing with me. Wow! That’s service! I try to deescalate the situation and say the conversation is over. I kept my distance and said nothing to the woman. I later ask the attendant if that happens often here and she shakes her head no. Not once did she say anything to the woman for being so rude and inappropriate. Another woman wants to use the same washer that took my quarter. I tell her that be careful because it took my quarter. She had the same issue but got her money back. The attendant just watched as I assisted her.
I would never come here again! Awful service, and the clientele are crazy and racist! Don’t expect to get your quarters back or help if someone goes apeshit!
