The food and service is awesome!!! I love a good diner, but my husband on the other hand is not a fan. BUT even he(the anti-diner guy) loved Parked Place!!! I had my favorite — tuna melt on pita bread — and it was amazing.

There are several diners in our area. We always choose this one! My husband and I are super conscious and they are always willing to accommodate our«healthier» requests. My daughter loves the pancakes!!!

For a late breakfast on New Year’s Day, my family decided to try out Park Place Diner as it is really close to home. The diner was extremely busy as their large parking lot was nearly full. Somewhat of a pancake junkie, I was craving some for lunch and thankfully my order of buttermilk pancakes was excellent. Cooked spot on to a nice slightly browned and golden hue they were moist, fresh, and fluffy. You can use 0whatever positive adjectives for pancakes to describe them. Nice to see that a creamy whipped butter was supplied as well. Though my one negative was that the blueberries weren’t all that fresh with a fair number of them being overripe and wrinkled. Mom’s «Everything» Omelette was cooked exactly the way she wanted which is a tad above done. All of the ingredients were fresh and the eggs were seasoned nicely too. Home fries were cooked properly to a crisp toasty exterior and hot moist interior. She particularly like the slightly charred and chunky texture of the potatoes. Sister had the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and home fries. She remarked on how tasty the corned beef was and that the scrambled eggs were fresh and seasoned well. Again the home fries were cooked on point. When walking in I spied the pastry display case and noticed several really fresh looking cakes and pies, so after finishing our lunch dishes we chose to indulge in dessert and try out the banana cream pie. The pie slice didn’t look too pretty when it was presented to us(looked to have been sliced a bit roughly, though cream pies are hard to slice evenly), but tasting the first spoonful I was very very happy to taste some really smooth & rich cream and fresh banana slices embedded inside said cream. Coupled with a cup of the surprisingly robust coffee, it was a really nice way to conclude lunch. Overall we all left quite happy with a very solid breakfast for lunch.

My go to local diner. Great breakfast deals and they try their best to prepare it the way you like. My favorites are the chocolate chip pancakes, their French toast, and the number 1 breakfast special.

My husband and I go here all the time with our kids and it is always a great experience. The staff knows our kids names which makes us feel comfortable and the food is always great!

Huge variety of menu selections. I use to go here much more when I worked in the area. Very consistent food and open for your late night munchies on Friday and Saturday night. Salads are always my go to here or a veggie egg white omelette. Typical NJ Diner and that’s a good thing. Service was good. Plenty of parking.

I’ve been there a bunch of times. A great diner, with an attentive staff. Great service and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is always clean and bright. I’ll be back.

The food was horrible. Ordered Eggs Florentine on Friday, worst diner food I think I have ever had. The served me extra small eggs, talking the size of a quarter, on mussy warmish spinach over a cold under done muffin, with a side of under cooked and under seasoned potatoes. I was starving and in a hurry so I did eat some it and paid for it. The place was empty but I had to ask for coffee refills, twice, which I never got. When I approached the hostess about the size of the eggs, and the fact that I would rather have paid more for 2 large eggs she could not have cared less. She just put this simpleton smile on her face and stared at me. I assured her I would not be back, paid my check and left.

This is your average type diner atmosphere. The service is pretty good. The waitress that I had was very attentive and friendly. The food is pretty good here. I would definitely come back to this place. Probably bring my friends along too!

My mom and aunt came here about 10 minutes before me as I was getting back from practice. My aunt is leaving for California and we need to be out by 1030 They ordered the food almost immediately at probably 945. I got there sat down, waited 5 minutes for their waitress to come over. I asked for a water and menu. The menu came instantaneously, I was told that she would have to go up to the front to get a menu. Perfectly understandable. She left and walked into the kitchen from the front. Later she comes out the back with their juices. Still no menu. I asked again she still didn’t bring it. Maybe I’m being harsh I mean it’s hard to walk 20 steps and then 20 steps back with a menu, for a mentally challenged paraplegic. but something tells me she isnt. So minutes go by. around 1020. The food comes and guess what she brings? A nice menu. Unfortunately I’ve already given up ordering because we’d have to leave. I resigned to getting a bagel across 34. The food was mediocre for my mom. She had eggs sausage and potatoes. I mean it was OK at best. The presentation was awful. My aunt had french toast which was not bad at all. Oh by the way the sausage didn’t come for 5 minutes after the meal came. And the syrup and butter 5 minutes later. So all in all it was a pretty poor meal. With no apologies from the waitress. I’m sure only the waitress is to blame. It’s hard to work during a busy 14 people packed restaurant on a Wednesday. Sundays must be fun for her

Always strange to me when waiters don’t write orders down… it is great when it comes out correctly but more times than not it is wrong… Very very heavy handed on the salt in the soup… that’s why there is a salt shaker on the table… just sayin And the dressing came with a nice salad garnish… my suggestion would be to serve dressing on the side or get a 1 oz ladle. My salad was drowning Menu revamp – visit some diners around NJ… cream sauces are out, and healthy eating is in.

Service is oh so slow, waitresses running around like minions getting very little accomplished. Ordered the most common breakfast sandwich(bacon, egg and cheese) and they were able to mess that up by forgetting the bacon. Food was on par with any other Diner.

THEABSOLUTEWORSTPLACETOEAT! If you want to get food poisoning, virus, bacteria, or any other disease, you are more than welcome to come eat here. If you answered no to any of the above, please save your health and go eat anywhere else! I’ve always known this place was disgusting and grotesque, but yesterday put the cherry on top. I FOUND A DEADWASPINMYFOOD! How does that even happen? And to top it all off the idiot manager when he came to check my plate had the audacity of asking me «did your plate come out like that?» SOMENERVE! You’re accusing me of putting a DEADWASP on my own food?! What benefit will that provide me? I’ve sworn to myself time and time again that I will never step foot in this hellhole, but my friends always come here so they always convince me to go with them, but this is the last straw. I am NEVER coming here again and you can bet on that. My friends will also never come here again. So good job Park Place Diner you’ve lost a big group of customers that used to come every Friday night!

Decent lunch. Salad was fresh, and sandwhiches were good sized and were fresh. Service was nice and there was a good amount of parking. I would be back to try some more specials.

Usually come here with my parents about once a week. Nice diner and I love the wraps and panini’s. They seem to have a new set of waiters and waitresses everytime we go. When ordering wraps/paninis they tend to forget the sauce/dressing that comes with it. Last time we are there my mom ordered the Mexican panini… the waitress came back and asked if she ordered the Cuban and both my mom and I said«no the mexican». Well our food came out and it was the Cuban. It was returned and the correct one came out but all we got was a sorry from the manager/owner. You think being he sees us there all the time he would have done something for us. My dad and I were almlst done eating by the time my mom got hers(she insisted we don’t wait). Other than that the diner has such a wide variety of food to choose from and also a liquor license for anyone who likes a drink with their meal.

We came to the diner on weekend afternoon. We entered and were promptly seated. There was a little riff raff behind the bar counter btw two servers, but after a few minutes we realized they were just joking with each other. They were loud throughout our meal. It seemed a little unprofessional but hey, we are eating at a diner. I ordered a meatball parm sandwich, and my husband got an omelette. Both were underwhelming and luke-warm. My meatballs were flavored with some type of spice that we both did not like. The portions were huge, and we did not leave hungry. Our waitress was very pleasant.

This diner is fine, but for some reason it doesn’t really do anything for me. It’s clean, the staff is friendly. I’ve been about 5 times and it’s usually b/c of location alone. The ambiance is odd. It’s supposed to be a diner, but it seems like it’s trying to be a restaurant in décor. When I’m looking for a diner, I’m looking for a diner. When I want a restaurant I’ll look for a restaurant(anyone who says their the same thing, you’re wrong) The food is decent, but nothing special. I’m a person that loves diners, and since they don’t knock the diner classics out of there park, I’ll pass.
