Big fan of this place! This is a great place for most occasions. It is a nice level of noise and some nights(I think it is weekends, they have a live band playing). They have a wonderful selection of craft beers, I think its over 100 on tap. If you are a beer person, I would highly recommend checking this place out. The food is just as great! I have ordered several entrees here and have yet to be disappointed! Everything comes pretty large and will surely fill you up. The service here is pretty great as well. Our waitress came by asking if we needed anything many times. She was very pleasant and friendly and hung around and talked to us for a bit when she did not have more tables to wait. The venue is nice, clean, and huge! It gets pretty packed for dinner time on the weekends, but they have more than enough seating. Never had to wait yet. I only have two complaints, one is that it is a bit pricey and the other is that the few times I only sat at the bar, the bartender was being nasty. Other than that, I love this place! Would definitely recommend giving it a shot, you wont leave upset about the beer or food!

Came here before a concert at PNC and was glad we did. Certainly not a friendly bar crowd on a Thursday afternoon but the 100 beers on tap was worth it! They had so many different types of beer and so many unique ones it was great to be able to try some that normally aren’t around. I thought the buffalo flatbread was great, however the tots with the cheese sauce(that seemed like it was from a can) should be skipped. Seems like the closest place to the concert venue, so I will be back before the next concert to do some more sampling!

This place has everything you want, and then some. There’s so many craft brews on tap, that I lost count. It’s a great kind of ridiculous! And the bartenders that they have know there shit. They will help you find the right beer for you. And nine times out of ten, they’re right. If you sign up for their newsletter, it lets you know the upcoming food specials, special keg tappings, and tap takeovers. As for the food. It’s freaking delicious. Try everything that they offer. You won’t be disappointed. The burgers and fries are massive so come hungry! And they have tater tots if you don’t want fries!

Went to Maloney’s for a business meeting based upon a recommendation from a friend. The meeting in question required a selection of craft beers and Maloney’s certainly delivered with over 100 beers on tap. I managed to sample 6 different beers along with the test product being discussed(tough job, but somebody had to do it …). I also had an excellent Caesar Salad with chicken and bleu cheese in order to keep it healthy. The menu looked very good and this place definitely needs a road trip(with a designated driver)

Over-priced, but with a beer/ale/stout/hard cider/miscl selection that I have yet to see. Went in for a couple of beers & a burger. Tab was $ 39 with tip. The burger was good, but not great, which, at a minimum, it should be for $ 12. So if you want to try brews from around the globe, this is your spot, but based on my limited sampling of the menu, don’t make a special trip for the food. Be forewarned, the prices run up to $ 14 a glass(I hesitate to say beer since their selection includes most things brewed). And fish and chips(which I haven’t tried, so can’t honestly say if it’s worth it, but can say with confidence, that it’s the most expensive I have seen in a bar) are a wopping $ 18.

Two words: Maloney Burger Nothing better than chomping on their signature burger as you sip a local craft beer while the crowd of hipsters, beer snobs and the occasional townie nod along in approval. Med Rare burger, Bacon, Swiss, horsey sauce on an English muffin; ’nuff said. Go and get one now, your stomach will thank you later, trust me.

My wife and I fell in love with this place. We were down the shore and needed a highly rated place on Unilocal. It was Oktoberfest time and we lucked out! Also returned at a later date and got different items. It’s a decent size place where parking is available on the St. We have gone off peak both times and have been able to score spots. Each time we went we were assisted by the same, friendly server. Their beer list is gigantic. Seriously it’s super impressive. So choose wisely but if you don’t there are others you can try. Moderate pricing on all of them. Food is exquisite! Their salad can be split in two to share. We usually skip the fried apps since we are glutinous on entrees. What we have had — Wiener schnitzel — outstanding and a hefty portion. Bratwurst — on a pretzel roll with grilled onions, fries and sautéed oinions — ridiculous! Was so good I got it both times I was there(it’s on the menu always not just Oktoberfest). Chicken Murphy — potato’s, delicious sauce, fork cutting chicken, peppers… a combo of deliciousness! From start to finish we enjoyed our experience. We would drive out of our way to return… ENJOY!

So many choices of beers, I do not know what to do besides, try all of them!!! Oh liver, I am so sorry. With some many choices of beers, you can never get bored, especially since the selections changes monthly. The waitress was very patience with my group for ordering our selection, which I will give you kudos since one of the customers was being ridiculous. Since, I am a Stout-man I ordered the Dragon’s Milk, which was one of many great options. It was a little strong, so if that is not your thing please try one of the many selections. As for the food, we ordered the fish and chips, the beer batter onion rings, and Maloney’s burgers. The burger was pretty good, a little too done for my taste, but it was the horseradish sauce that gave my taste buds a little kick. The rings were big and crispy which was excellent with our beers when we were watching the television in the bar. However, I personally enjoy the fish and chips the most. The fish wasn’t the industrialized geometric shaped fish sticks you see in the school lunch cafeteria’s. They were nice chunks of fish that were lightly battered and fried for enjoyment and the fries were wedge cut, which made it perfect. For the environment, it gets pretty loud, but if you want to find some quiet area, there is a back half of the pub that are booths and tables for customers to sit in. Overall, this is going to be my new watering hole, since there is not a lot of choices of bars where I live. I will be going back again to test how my liver can hold up… probably should bring a «Double D» too, alcohol always taste better with company and friends.

Ate here for my good friend’s birthday party. We were in the«party room» area. Great service and friendly staff. Appetizers and drinks were amazing, but the pumpkin ravioli was disappointing.(It’s better at Camillo’s in Sayreville.) But good company and we were able to bring in an outside dessert of ice cream cake. Yum yum! Go for the bar food/appetizers and you’ll enjoy yourself.

This is a great place if you love craft beer. They have so many excellent choices on tap it takes a while to decide which to drink, not a bad thing. Food is good. Can get crowded & loud. I find it a bit pricey though & no happy hour or I’d go there more often.

Went in with a date to find an unexpectedly large bar with a great vibe. I love this place. The story goes, my date and i wanted their blueberry beer and they had ran out. The other bartender overheard and went to see if they had another keg, which they did! So we got to enjoy our blueberry, and a couple of other great beers. Anyplace someone goes out of their way to get you what you want deserves 5 stars. Cant say anything about food but there bar selection, service, and atmosphere was all great.

This place is right down the street from me and I feel very fortunate to live so close to this place. It’s definitely my go-to and one of the few places I feel comfortable going in and having a drink and some food by myself.(As a single girl, this is important) I love the service I get, the food, the beer selection. Never fails me!

Have you ever had a desire for a really great bar setting with simply good food? Not bar food, but real food that is prepared by a real chef and isn’t just thrown into a deep fryer. If so, this is your must go to spot! The bar has so many beers on draft that they have a 2 sided, double column, single spaced beer menu. The taps line the full back of the bar and have another section for bartenders to circle 360 degrees to get you your perfect beer. Pair that with a full bar of spirits and your entire party is sure to find what they want. The food menu has a nice variety where I got a delicious bbq chicken sandwich while the boyfriend got a chicken dish(sorry, I forgot the name) that was paired with veggies and fresh mozz that looked beyond amazing. Whether you’re looking for a quick drink, a night out on the town, or a pleasant dinner, Maloney’s Pub has got you covered.

Came here with my husband cause I was craving a good hamburger. I had seen the positive reviews on Unilocal and we’re always in search of that good local restaurant. I ordered the Classic burger and he ordered the Reuben. Both were good. Our drinks were served with a mosquito garnish… No big deal, I’m sure there’s been worse in my food! The manager came by and apologized. I thought she said something about comp’ing our meal but wasn’t sure as it was loud and she said it as she walked away. We ended up paying for the meal(including the iced tea with the mosquito). Overall, the service was fast and the food was good. It definitely looked like a fun place to hang out and have a few drinks, I’m sure I’ll be back but ever so suspicious of my drinks! :)

As every review starts and I must too… AMAZINGSELECTIONOFCRAFTBEERS! What a great place! Atmosphere, service and food! A night out with the girls and we had so much fun being together. Food was really good. Huge Cobb Salad with grilled chicken. Pub style food from salads to burgers and meals. Not much gluten free stuff on the menu but our amazing server found things for me and the kitchen was very willing to do whatever they could. Everyone went crazy over all the selection of craft beers they have. We started out in the bar which is really a great neighborhood place to have some drinks then we went into the dinning room where there are booths and tables. Our server was really fantastic. A place to definitely go back to try more things.

5 stars if you love beer, sandwiches, burgers and tots. The selection is plentiful.(An understatement) 3 stars if you are not a beer drinker and you try to eat on the healthy side. The selection is grim. Nice atmosphere and staff, clean bathroom and fairly easy parking out front.

Writing this as I sit here with my hockey puck«medium well burger»… Sat down, took 15 minutes for waiter to come greet us. Then walked away. 10 minutes later comes to take drink order. First round took 15 minutes to get delivered. That just begins to detail our experience. Not for nothing, just because you have an extensive beer menu, doesn’t excuse terrible service. The food is actually decent, this isn’t my first time here, but after the bad service and the hockey puck medium well burger it is DEFINITELYMYLAST. Good luck, find decent help.

Great place to get a draft beer, there are a ridiculous amount of beers on tap that any beer lover could find a new favorite here. Their food is standard bar food, the tater tots are delicious. I got a reuben, and it was open-face. Being open-faced, it was difficult to eat and a bit greasy, but enough for leftovers. My husband got a burger and it was good.

Amazing beer selection — they have options you won’t find anywhere else. They even had a great selection of sour beers and mead if that’s your thing. I uploaded photos of the double-sided menu from the time I came here. Food was unimpressive(wings were so-so, tater tots themselves were good but loaded version came with American cheese — yuck) but I honestly didn’t even care, was so impressed with the beer menu. Waitress was super nice and knew her beers so she had recommendations. They don’t do flights here but will give you a sample. Would absolutely return & highly recommend this place if you are a craft beer lover.
