Great friendly place! I always get the crepes. Always cooked to perfection. It’s a real quaint, old place. Just makes ya feel cozy. Wish they’d put an extension on, though! I love having breakfast there.

If you want to feel at home when eating breakfast you have to try this place this place is known for it. You name it all made fresh right in front of you can get a little crowded but what does that say other then the best food for your money. Can walk out with a full stomach and it won’t hurt your pocket service is real friendly. Can’t remember the young girls name but she’s a sweet heart knows everyone’s name and remembers what you eat the next time you come in… 5 stars definitely

Love the great food and the staff. Linda, Donna and Alba each give great personal service and it quickly feels like a place where you can be a regular. This is the opposite of the chain restaurants where getting you in and moving you on is the goal. The wide selection of food and the home cooked specials keep us coming back multiple times a week. Cash only so leave the cards at home. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This is a «OLD SCHOOL» local diner ! I love this place and will be back. I can’t believe I have lived in the area and waited too long to try it. I ordered coffee, small Manhattan clam chowder soup and a patty melt with potato salad. This is a classic old school order. I was in heaven. Will be back to try breakfast.

Great homey spot with real cabinets in the kitchen for that right at home feel with seating comprised of a counter to sit 6 as well as the 4– 4 seat tables. Solid good food and a friendly, no frills atmosphere that was slightly loud for my liking for breakfast but not overbearing. Had standard thin bread French toast with over easy eggs and corned beef hash (which was super fresh btw) all cooked perfectly. Check did take long due to staff BS’ing, but overall very good experience and would return.

Went here this morning with hubby and 8 month old son. The place is small and it was packed, and I did not see a highchair so I was a little nervous that maybe they weren’t children friendly, not even close to that they rushed out with a high chair and said family is what they are all about :) I had the sausage gravy and biscuits ~so darn yummy !!! Hubby had crepes with banana and nutella and he said very good also. The menu looks great and we will be back to try the Eggs Benedict’s. It is a cash place so know that going in is great. Thank you for a new breakfast place in our new neighborhood.

Came out from Brooklyn for the weekend and couldn’t help but eat everything on the menu. The food was fantastic, the service was friendly and quick, and the coffee was addictive. Jimmy’s really brought an at-​home feel and great food to the table. So happy to have found the place off Montaulk Highway. Reminds me of Tom’s Restaurant in Brooklyn — great prices, fast and friendly service, and chocolate chip pancakes!

One of the best breakfast spots on eastern Long Island. This place is like a little whole in a whole. It’s definitely a gem! I could see it being the next Maureen’s kitchen but I think the quaintness of it is what keeps its authenticity. Great food and wonderful staff!

Love this place especially their pastrami melts! My family comes here almost every Sunday for brunch which is something we all look forward to every weekend. The waitresses are all friendly and seem to know my little brother is notorious for ordering his chocolate chip pancakes every single weekend. Wish this place was bigger though because we are occasionally waiting for a table but definitely worth the wait!

Walked in and there was only one table in front which was too small for our group. It was Saturday, mid-​morning and we were too hungry and impatient to wait. I was already out the door waiting for the rest of our group to exit when one of the waitresses came out to ask if we were staying. I thanked her, saying no, it didn’t look like there was enough room and her reply was «we’ll make room for you, come on in». That morning began our great experience with Jimmy’s Diner.
They quickly put two tables together while another couple already seated at a larger table moved to a smaller one to help the staff accommodate us (proof there really are nice people among us). Everyone enjoyed their meal.
The service and food here is great. Since then, we stop in for breakfast whenever we are in the neighborhood.
I highly recommend Jimmy’s Diner. Go and enjoy the service and food. I’m sure you will pleased.
