Went to the Village Pub on broadway in Massapequa.. Had great rock and roll memorabilia threw out the place. Bartender was very pleasant and introduced my friends and I to some really great new drinks. They also had a GOOD assortment of beers. The Iron Maiden trooper was fantastic. They also had a two man acoustic band performing.. Singer was really great. Kinda a local bar but everyone there was very friendly. Definitely be back there again

What a dump. Went there to see a friends band play. The bartender could not have been a bigger bitch of she tried. The owner had to get escorted out when he spit beer all over the band. Then, the bartender decided to stop serving drinks to the entire bar, simply because she did not like one of the patrons. I would never go back here again. Again… a dump.
Oh, and the owner was smoking cigarettes in the bar the entire night.

This pub is amazeballs!!! The best bartenders in the world work here! An excellent place to hangout, drink with friends, and play some pool!

Yes, it is sort of what the name implies– and filled with loud and regular locals.
Decent bartenders, older-​ish crowd and definitely a place where everyone knows everyone else.
Decent drinks and average prices– not my sort of stop along the trail but it might work for you!

Dive-​y pub, really loud, average priced drinks… no complaints, but i won’t be going out of my way to get back there… stopped in on a whim for happy hour. staff was pleasant enough, clientele was a bit shady but hey, it’s the village pub!
