Went shopping for a new bike and the staff was very helpful in assisting me in picking out a bike. the price was very fair since it was a new model that was just released. I have returned several times for accessories and they are just as courteous and attentive.

I’ve been meaning to review this place for months now. in Sept a friend of mine suggested we rent bikes to go on the Bethpage bike path. When I called the woman was pleasant asked a few questions and said she would have a bike to fit my short stature. The day of our outdoor adventure a woman took our info and the young man explained the logistics of the bikes since all of us haven’t been on one for for a while. But hey it’s as easy as riding a bike. :0) I can honestly say that bike was the best bike I ever used. It fit me perfectly! We road 20 miles (i think) and were told the rental fee could be used towards the purchase of a bike. Now the bike I loved was the cost of 3 of my monthly car payments; however if I were to splurge I would definitely go to them. You can’t put a price on good customer service and knowledge of the product. I will be recommending this place to others and I will be back to rent or possibly buy.

I shopped around and Sunrise Cyclery gave me a great price on my Dahon Espresso 21 speed aluminum folding bike. Frank & Cathy were also flexible and made a good bike even better: I added a percision Shimano DEORE front dérailleur and changed the rear cassette wheel to just ¹²⁄₂₈ teeth so I can pedal comfortably even while riding fast downhill or with the wind at my back. My OnGuard Pitbull lock & cable have reliably kept this bike safe on city streets — and I’m visible with my Pearl Izumi «Screamin Yellow» vest. Thank you Frank & Cathy!

My friend was in Tobay triathlon Aug 23, 2014, rented a road bike from Sunrise Cyclery, which was awesome and were very happy with it. Two days later when returning his rented bike, I needed my bike break pad adjust and was told it wasn’t a simple work, need to leave the bike over night that the work was involved. I couldn’t leave the bike cuz I had no way of picking it up. We are going on a camping trip this Labor Day weekend, tomorrow, taking our bikes, my bike need to be fixed, so he took my bike with him so he can try to get it fix near by him which was Danny’s Cycles. Yesterday he took my bike to Danny’s Cycles, SURPRISINGLY THEY FIXED IT IN SECONDS NO CHARGE. what can I say?! Let’s see how well it works over the weekend, very happy for now!

they actually little bit messed up my order, did not quite grasp quickly there was any problem, and the communication was not very fast. But after all they realized their mistake and did their best to settle it down, sent a correct replacement and my cc was not charged for the product at all, I paid only the restocking fee and shipping. Thanks!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. My dad bought his first road bike here and they really helped him out and made sure he had everything he needed in terms of safety, etc. I also come here to get everything for my bike too. Great people.
