Just stopped in for a quick slice. It was hot fresh and quick. The staff was friendly and the interior was clean. I would recommend this place. They have more than just pizza here. There is a deli portion where you can get sandwiches burgers and almost anything else you would like.

Came to pick up a quick lunch but wasn’t too thrilled with the service. It’s obviously lunch time so I’d expect it to be a little hectic. Small crowd formed while I was waiting for my Chicken Parm, and I can sense the staff becoming overwhelmed. It’s the lunch time rush, you guys should be used to this by now. Once my sandwich was ready, I requested to seasoning it with some of the spices. This seemed to make the man upset. Not sure why, but once I finished, I felt as though I was being neglected now after making them wait so I can season my grub. In any case, I won’t hold this against him as this is the first time I’ve experienced it. Just wanted to make a small notation.

Ordered penne alla vodka with breaded chicken and tortellini with meat sauce. The food delivery took a while and it was ordered via grubhub. Despite the long wait I gave the guy a generous tip. I open the pizza box containing my food and to my disappointment the breaded chicken I asked them to separate and not cut into pieces was not adhered to by the instructions I posted in my order. The sauce was terrible and definitely not Italian style. Not a happy customer. Not sure if theres a next time around with this place.

The food is fine, and I used to eat there regularly, until it became clear to my coworkers and I that they were overcharging us when we were in business attire. The woman working the counter showed obvious guilt and embarrassment after asking what she should charge and having to tell us.
Based on that alone I cannot recommend this establishment.

Even though I still have to give them four stars overall, there are a few items they serve that could easily push them up to five. Jamaican beef patty with cheese from them is my new addiction and after getting turned off to them in NYC public school cafeterias as a kid I was pretty shocked to find them so good from a pizza place, but make sure you get it with cheese though.
You don’t see many places that have a chicken pesto hero (w/​mozzarella) and it’s one of my favorites lighter tasting than a meatball or chicken parm which you can get from at least a dozen other places.
It’s these hidden gems on the menu that keep me coming back to Angelo’s. Now if I could only get them to stay open a little later…
