I’m really into the vibe here at Zoup! The never know what you’re gonna get thing they’ve got happening regarding soup of the day flavors is pretty cool, and keeps it from getting stale for sure. Plus, you can sample the soups before you decide on one — perfect idea for someone like me who is used to plain chicken noodle and tomato soup flavors in their own life. I also love that their soup is served with your choice of warm sourdough, French, or whole wheat bread. It’s the perfect compliment. I opted for the cup of lobster bisque which was creamy, outstanding and had huge chunks of lobster. So, so, so good. I also had the half size Loco Burrito Salad which was perfectly large in its own right. The flavors of both were so fantastic that I kept eating long after I was full and should have stopped. I was in a food coma for the rest of the afternoon. My lunch date chose the southwest turkey sandwich and it was toasted and melty and awesome. He also had a cup of the loaded potato soup which was also hearty and delicious. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, the staff was energetic and friendly and the prices were reasonable. I will return.

I love this place! Great selection of soups, and ever changing menu that has something for everyone-gluten free or vegetarian or spicy or comfort. I can get a sample. The staff are beyond friendly and welcoming-they seem to really enjoy working with their customers. It’s my favorite place to go for lunch on Mason-Montgomery Road.

I really like the concept but it just didn’t do it for me. I don’t like mayo so I asked for mustard on my sandwich instead. It could have been any kind of mustard and I would have been happy, but guess what? They don’t have mustard! I would much rather go to Panera Bread.

Soup and sandwiches sound great for lunch ! Too bad it’s not great at this place. It tastes like soup out of a carton and the sandwiches have an ounce of meat, and are mostly bread. It’s just kind of lame. I’d rather be at home letting out Fartz.

Apple maps isn’t right. Go West on Parkway Dr off Mason Montgomery. Having Lobster Bisque for lunch is high class(and high calorie) but tastes great. You can sample any of the approx 8+ soups. Tough to decide. Sandwiches and salads will meet your expectation but probably not exceed them. The soups and bread roll are where this place shines.

Just love the simplicity of soups. Love love love this hidden gem. Had lobster bisque and veggie wrap. Atmosphere has nice quiet upbeat music, seating area has various seating options, stools, single booth, open tables etc. Quiet and laid back.

This was pretty good. We went at about 5 and no one was there. The employees and the place itself were a little messy and not completely clean or put together. But the food was good and I like that you get to sample the soups before you order.

Amazing soups and tastey salads! Just went for the first time. Will try sandwiches some time. Love that you can try the soups. I got the Mac N Cheese soup. yummy! My husband got Lobster Bisque and said it was awesome(I’m vegetarian so I didn’t try it). The bread that came with the soup was soft and delicious; artisan bread… there are three to choose from. The staff was super friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Zoup — which is like an updated Panera without the pastries — serves DELICIOUS soups, like the crab bisque, lobster bisque, lemon chicken, and ginger butternut squash. A little pricey, but worth it for the taste imo. They encourage tasting samples and the staff was both friendly and helpful. They have a nice selection of salads and sandwiches, but only tried the tuna salad which had capers, lemon, dill, and a touch of onion — it was very tasty and way better than Panera’s. I did think the balsamic vingarette(on the side) for the lettuce was not the best pairing as over powered the tuna, but next time will get a mayo based one. The whole wheat bread was fresh but nothing special. I’ll be back for sure.

Great soup! Had the lobster bisque in a bread bowl. Got a piece of lobster in each bite. The bread bowl was toasted and warm adding to the yumminess.

The food was delicious. I got the southwest turkey sandwich and chicken pot pie soup. The chicken pot pie soup is one of their best sellers. The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly. I liked the fact that they offered samples of their soup. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is the wait time for the food to be ready was a little long. I assumed they would be getting the food ready as I ordered it on the line, but instead you order at a register and you have to wait for them to call your name.

I have stopped here multiple times for lunch and I’m always impressed. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. The soups are a much better quality than I had anticipated. I love the variety and rotation, but one of their constants is lobster bisque — my favorite! I will be back again, I’m sure.

Been here 3 times now and have been happy with it every time. The tuna and caper wrap is delicious, so much so that I’m unable to order any other side to go with my soup. I’ve had 3 different chilis and each was very good. The Web site is VERY helpful with calorie and sodium listings so that I can have the best choice for me picked out that day before arriving at the store. It’s fast, tasty and easy on the wallet.

I’ve been here three times now and the soup is good but the service sucks bad. Hope I’m wrong but I don’t think this place will make it. Should not take 20 min to get a bowl of soup to go on a Sunday afternoon. The rest of my group was able to go to blaze pizza next door order and eat e pizza each before I was able to order my soup.

I was excited to try this place but I just don’t think it’s going to make it. Got the lemon caper tuna sandwich, it had two scoops of tuna on it and you could tell the romain lettuce was dirty. Super generic décor, which I always hate. I think a Tom & Chee would do better in this location.

Stumbled across this great little place while navigating through Mason. Think Panera, but faster and better flavored all around! I recommend the Southwest Turkey sandwich and Spicy Black Bean Chili for anyone who likes a little kick.

The staff, especially Andrew, is great. They will let you try lots of samples, too! The soups are delicious and ever changing.(Again, you’ll like the samples!) Sure the lines can get long, but you will spend less time in line than at Chipotle. Definitely a place to go.

First impression: My husband and I came at 1 in order to beat the noon lunch crowd and it took 20 minutes to get through a 12 person line. It has been 10 minutes and I am still waiting on my second choice of soup because they were sold out of my first choice and bread bowls. Received my order: Jamaican gumbo is watered down seasoned tomato soup. The portions are tiny for the price. My husband got a sandwich and salad. Both are smaller than Panera but cost the same. Learning curve or not, I won’t be coming back because I simply don’t think it’s worth the price.

The soup is okay(it reminds me of taking a can of Progresso and adding some greens to «spice it up a bit»), and the wrap left me wishing for better. Kinda squishy, kinda flat. I placed an online order in the morning to pick up at 11:45; I figured this would give them a little time before the lunch rush. With two people in front of me when I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled pick up time, I left at about 12:10(with my order that might have been under the counter the whole time?). The poor girl at the register was at the brunt of everyone’s displeasure, but to be fair, she identified my order as «oh, the big one!» Honey, I’m a girl with image issues anyway, and I don’t think a you-pick-two is unreasonable for lunch, haha. Logistics are just not running smoothly yet, despite maybe 8 – 10 people working. Aforementioned register girl said the tickets got mixed up(not my problem, you guys don’t pay me to expo). I’ll go back in a couple months and give it another go while they work out the kinks.
