I am visiting from Texas. We came in 10 minutes prior to closing this past friday. We were hurried and cattled out as fast as possible. The word famous chili of Cincinnati. I had to try. Didn’t care for it. Spaghetti over chili? Really? Lol Yuk all the way around. Nothing special here. Also nothing like Texas chili.

I’m a local San Diegan, having been relocated to Cincinnati for work. Man the first few times eating skyline I HATED it… But I’ve learned to love it. The trick is if you’re having it for the first time don’t think of it as chili in the traditional sense, it’s not. In a weird way it’s extremely satisfying and you know you can only get it local.

This is the best Skyline in Cincinnati. The staff is the friendliest around and very attentive. Jenna, Diana, Michelle and Alex are all fantastic. Skyline is Skyline is Skyline to me for the most part. But the crew at Western Row make THIS Skyline the best around. Excellent job Heather and Jenna!!!

Love Skyline and this one is usually OKBUT never ever get carry out/drive through without checking every item in your order. For some reason they just can’t get orders correct(missed items, reg chili instead of veggie, missing salad dressing etc.). I’m not talking once or twice but nearly every time! Quite a problem when you drive 15 minutes to find there is nothing for you vegetarian wife to eat. To make matters worse they won’t refund money to your credit card but only issue a store credit that you must remember to pick up. Again an OK place as long as you eat in

Skyline Chili is a Cincinnati specialty. You can’t find the chili or the restaurants in many places other than Ohio. Skyline Chili is the first to make the Cincinnati Chili. What is Cincinnati Chili? Its distinctively different from regular chili. The sauce contains finely ground beef, spices, cinnamon and sometimes even chocolate. I can’t explain how insanely delicious this is. It may sound weird, but it is an absolute must eat. The restaurant serves 3-way’s, Coney’s and a few other items. I had a Habanero Cheese 4-way and 2 coney’s. The Habanero Cheese 4-way — A 3-way is spaghetti, chili, and shredded noodles. So the 4-way was added onions. I was also lucky enough to visit on one of the rare times where the had the Habanero Cheese available. So I had was stoked to order my 4-way with the special cheese. This was so freaking delicious that I am still craving this meal. The soft noodles with the delicious Cincinnati Chili, onions and giant pile of Habanero Cheese was so freaking perfect. Unbelievably good. The cheese here is shredded so thin and is extremely light and fluffy. The chili is highly addictive. Cheese Coney’s — A soft bun with a hot and delicious dog, the chili and a pile of cheddar cheese. The light cheese and the chili make this some of the best coney’s you will ever have. Skyline Chili is such a special treat and is one of the best things I have ever eaten. Also this is dirt cheap, the perfect blue collar meal. I would eat this everyday if I lived in Cincinnati. This is an absolute must eat. Don’t live your life with out ever eating this!
