Mason Public Library

Don’t expect to find a good parking spot here, because their parking lot is mediocre. Not enough spots, and too many handicapped spots. If you do come here, come at a time where there’s barely anyone here. The Wi-​Fi here is okay, but you have to create a library card first. You cannot access the internet here without a library card, which I learned the hard way. The library is nice and quiet overall, but this isn’t the place for a committee meeting.

Good quiet space and a clean library but the staff didn’t seem eager to help anyone. A couple were actually even a little rude:(.

The staff is always very helpful. They are interested in helping you find what you need and researching for it if they can’t find it at their library. Nice space, new addition is nice. Great children’s area, and young adult selection. They stay on top of the newest trends and books. Love the library!

Met a friend here for a work meeting and found that the library had double booked the conference room. It looked like the library was using the room to conduct some sort of job interview, even though we had reserved the space earlier in the week. No explanation, apology or alternative solution was provided. Kind of treated like we were idiots who must have done something wrong, not the other way around. Their problem though because we ended up conducting our meeting in the library and my 2 yo son pulled like 50 books from the shelves… kept him occupied but meant that someone later had to reshelve. I didn’t even try to stop him or help but them back since I was so annoyed with the staff. Felt a little like, «that’s what you get.»
The space felt kind of dated but the kids section had lots of puzzles/​activities, so that is nice. Don’t think it would be worth the treck though to Mason. West Chester library is much nicer and newer.
