So much variation in one convenient area. I love that they have something to satisfy all price ranges and genres, whether it’s restaurants, clothes or accessories, etc. The only major con is it’s vulnerability to bad weather– it’s outdoors and doesn’t have much overhead coverage at all.

This is sooooo much more convenient than going to a mega-mall for shopping. It’s clean, parking is easy, and the shops are great. I can’t go to Deerfield without stopping in at Charming Charlie’s. Now they have a Yagoot’s for frozen yogurt fans.

Its outdoors so that leaves it vulnerable in bad weather, but in spring it is cool. Not sure how mush traffic it gets but the restaurants do pretty well.

There are a huge amount of stores in this town center. This used to be a huge field of trees and such. And, now it’s a bustling metropolis of commerce. Included in this is a Walmart, Dicks, Bed Bath and Beyond, whole foods all kinds of little specialty stores. Also, a brand new multi-plex theater! It’s nice, it’s pretty, it’s fancy and… it’s in Mason. Go there… spend money…

Deerfield Towne Center has had to continually grow to match the exploding population of Mason. It started with a few major department stores and restaurants, and has now exploded into a thriving outdoor mall with over 65 stores. It is right on par with Rookwood commons in variety, and beats it in parking. It is much more spread out and has been able to grow into it’s current space, rather than be limited by it. The newest major addition to Deerfield Towne Center has been the theater. It’s unfortunately located in a very strange place, far off the road and really easy to miss if you weren’t specifically going to it. The seats are nice, though and it really brings more reason to visit this already great outdoor mall.

As the City of Mason’s population exploded in recent years, it became necessary to build a new shopping center in the area. Deerfield Towne Center became the answer and opened about three years ago. It is currently home to «65 national brand stores, specialty boutiques, one-of-a-kind furniture stores, exclusive restaurants, great entertainment, and the new Regal Cinema.» Deerfield Towne Center is an excellent alternative to Rookwood Commons and the indoor shopping malls in town. While it has some of the usual stores and restaurants such as GameStop, Sunglass Hut, Panera, and Qdoba, it also brings a lot of unique places to the area, especially regarding food. Traditional favorites like Dick’s, Wild Oats, and Bed Bath & Beyond are also a hit here. Most of the Deerfield restaurants are out on or close to Mason-Montgomery Road, and they include Abuelo’s„ Mimi’s Caf, and the Polo Grille. Bravo Cucina Italiana, my favorite Italian restaurant in town, also just moved in to the center. I’m not much of a shopper, but I know there are a ton of great stores in Deerfield, ranging from Birkenstock and White House/Black Market to Ann Taylor LOFT and Cold Water Creek. Deerfield also offers furniture, jewelry, and other specialty stores. I’ve also gone to Jones the Florist and Borders Books & Music and have had good experiences. Don’t forget Pure Concept/Aveda Salon and Urban Active Fitness. As clich as it is, Deerfield Towne Center really seems to have it all. The variety of stores make it a great place to shop, as do the new facilities.
