Fairly small store, but they have a great selection of craft beer and 9 taps. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff(I think he was the owner) even went back to top of my growler after I paid because the foam had settled and there was a little more space. Great selection on tap, there were 2 imperial stouts, a coffee stout, a session ipa, a standard ipa, a black ipa, an imperial ipa, a kolsch, and even a sour. I went with Dark Horse Plead the Fifth, and it was fresh and good!

Craft Pointe is a new beer and wine shop in the Mason area that fulfills the need of craft beer snobs and wine lovers alike. The store is a bit small but offers a great variety of beer and a decent wine selection. Upon walking in you’ll see on the left side of the store an extensive selection of beers that can be purchased by the bottle. Past that is the wine section. On the right side of the store is craft beer available by the six pack. They also have a small cooler section to pick up sixers or twelve packs on the go. In the middle of the store they often have a small table featuring seasonal beers and wines and gift pack type promotions. The prices are pretty much the industry standard and are not jacked up or overpriced. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Thank you, Craft Pointe, for providing a store that was sorely needed in Mason.

I stopped in to Craft Pointe tonight as I had seen this new business driving by it the past couple weeks. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman employee and the most extensive craft beer selection in the area. Nearly all the local beers were available(Madtree, Rivertown, Triple Digit, Rhinegeist, etc.) including seasonal beers as well as many of the well known(Stone, Lagunitas) and less well known(Ballast Point) microbreweries from across the country. An entire wall the length of the store is fully stocked and they also have both a glass refrigerator cooler and small walk-in cooler stocked with a variety of beers. I picked up Great Lakes Nosferatu, West Sixth Cocoa Porter, Duval for the wife, and my favorite IPA: Ballast Point Sculpin. The employee(owner?) offered to hold my purchases at the counter while I shopped and had them all rung up and ready to go by the time I was finished. We chatted beer for a couple minutes and he said they opened Labor Day weekend and would start advertising when they had their permanent sign installed. TL;DR — The best craft beer selection in the area at the same prices. If you live in Mason/Deerfield, check this place out!
