Best place in Mason City for breakfast, hands down.

They cater several things for us and always do a great job

If you follow all the old people during lunch time in Mason City, I bet you will end up at «Pies and more.» This place is located inside a strip mall and doesn’t offer enough room for all the people who come and eat there. There is ALWAYS a waiting line, mostly of old people.
They should actually call this place Pie’s and Gravy“
This place offers all of grandma’s comfort foods, and one of them being GRAVY. If it doesn’t have gravy on it, then it’s not food.
Hot roast beef or turkey sandwiches smothered with gravy on top, mashed potatoes and gravy, biscuits and gravy and even gravy pie. No, just kidding on the last gravy special… but really, gravy is where it’s at.
They do, however, offer a few salad choices, but nothing to rave over.
And yes, they actually have Pies, hence the name, PIE’S and more.” Fresh, homemade Pies.
You will feel right at home. Just don’t forget to bring your cane because I think you get an extra 10% discount.
