My 2008 Macbook had been giving me a message to replace the battery soon so I bought a new battery on line (I had called this store earlier and they told me Apple was no longer selling batteries for this computer). At the same time the power connector was also failing. I brought the computer in and they ran diagnostics on it which supposedly said the new battery was bad and they refused to sell me a new power connector saying the computer was obsolete. I felt I had no choice but to buy a new computer but really needed a new power connector so that I could run a backup to an external drive so I could transfer my stuff to the new computer. Subsequently I found a refurbished power connector on line as well as another battery. iCape Solutions did absolutely nothing to help me — they only helped their bottom line by selling me a new computer which was completely unnecessary. You will notice that their web site does not say they are Apple Authorized. Be smart go to a real Apple store.
