I called to make an appt at 9 and was able to get one at 11 for that same day. I had originally asked for an appt for 1 but the office closed at 1230 that day, and does twice a week(must be nice, right?) anyway she told me I had strep and sent the script to my pharmacy of choice. Went to pick up said script and the pharmacy had no record of it. They tried to contact Dr Birds office and ! They had already closed. So after going all night without meds I called the office at 9 the following day. Receptionist said she was sorry and would have Dr Bird resend it. She was very nice and took my name and phone number to call me. Now by this time the strep had gotten progressively worse. Another hour goes by with no word from the office so I start getting pissed. I could have already had a full 24 hours of meds and starting to feel better. I call AGAIN and receptionist says Dr Bird had been«busy with patients» and would attend to it by ONEINTHEFREAKINGAFTERNOON. I don’t understand how you cannot pick up the phone and call. The. Script. In. So hopefully in 3 more hours my script will actually be at the pharmacy and actually start to feel better. Most unprofessional Drs office I have ever been to and I’m about to call my insurance company and find a new doctor right this very second
