Very good teriyaki. I read reviews saying quality was poor but it was excellent quality. I’m pleased to have come here. Quick service to go, great food and good price.

I really like this place. My wife and I enjoy the Super Chicken every Saturday for her lunch. They always have your order ready when you arrive.

Meh. is about all i can say really… I had beef and prawns… Which turned out to be a very small portion of beef that was waaaaaayyyyy toooo sweeeet… and 5 little shrimp on a skewer that had a decidedly old and fish taste to them… along with some cut up lettuce with something like a sugared mayo as a dressing … a nice scoop of rice and a can of soda for $ 11 bucks and change… The first thing i noticed when i sat a table was that there was dried food on the wall and the tables were ‘sticky’ all over… when the gentleman brought me my food … he gave me a fork and some napkins… but the fork was kind of sticky too… I got up and retrieved a fresh fork… but it was sticky as well… other than the shrimp… the beef wasnt bad except for the extreme sweetness and the rice was cooked well… although the teriyaki sauce from the bottle was thicker than carmalized honey… Meh… not the worst … certainly not in contention for the best… I think there are many other Teriyaki places I might try in town a few times before i decide to come back to this one…

This used to be my very favorite teriyaki place I loved their Mongolian beef. The staff was amazing. I stopped in there a few weeks ago to get my usual and discovered it was Under New Management. I was hoping that not much has changed but boy was I wrong. The prices seem to have stayed the same but the quality of the food is not even close. They changed the recipe and the beef was pure fat it was so disgusting. I actually ended up throwing it away I couldn’t even eat it. Such a disappointment.

So I have been a diehard fan of Kami for years and was sad to bid the latest owner goodbye but am glad that it was sold to someone who cares about the service. That said since the change in ownership happened the quality of food has gone down a bit. The first day of new ownership I received old wilted salad, dry chicken and a smaller portion. Frustrated with the quality of service I tried almost every other Teriyaki spot in the area(Teriyaki Bowl, Teriyaki Point, Teriyaki Box, Happy Teriyaki) and no one is as good. However I would like to make the following suggestions to the new ownership. 1. Double check orders before they go out — Make sure salad has dressing and is not wilted/dead. 2. Go back to what works — Portion sizing between the«lunch special» and«regular» should be noticeable since the price certainly is. 3. Taste test — It is not uncommon for a chef at any restaurant to taste something from a plate that he/she is going to serve. I am hoping to bring my business back to Kami and keep it there as it is my preferred lunch when I am working and would be happy to come back and eat it every day if things turn around. Seth S.

YUMMY! Only down fall, they’re closed on Sunday. :-/ They are so delicious! Their sauces and their food taste quality. YUM! We love this place. They do seem busy often & if you don’t get an answer when calling, just call again!

I come from Hawaii, where we have all these selections that taste supreme. The food here is decent, but not even close to Hawaii standards. The customer service is a joke. The guy who always runs the counter needs a personality implant. You’ll spot him easily; the Korean dude with the frown. I get the ribs, and although I make Kal Bi better, I go their for convenience since I don’t have a family to cook for. I suggested to the guy that they should offer Chicken Katsu with dark meat. He scoffed at me. In Hawaii, we don’t mess around with the dry white meat. I won’t touch the stuff. Hence, I make my own, which is better of course. But, it’s late, I want Kal Bi, I don’t have time or energy to make it tonight, so I’m headed over to pick up my BBQ ribs and see«Smiley» once again.

This review is from my visit in 2014. Shrimp fried rice had the tiniest shriveled shrimp I have ever seen. Yakisoba was boring. Staff seemed annoyed to have customers. They have a prime spot in a nice building. I wish they would turn things around or move out so another eatery could take their spot.

There are about 15 teriyaki restaurants in Marysville I happens to go to this one. Man took my order then quickly yelled over my shoulder to get next order even though this place had no one else in it and no one coming. He seemed way busy to provide any customer service. When I got my food it was the wrong order and looked like they filled the styrofoam container up and shook it. Last but not least food tasted sub par at best.

I love the teriyaki chicken. It’s absolutely delicious. My problem with this place is the service. When your hours state you are open until 8:00pm, I should be able to walk in at a quarter til and still order food. Not be met at the door as I am entering with a «do you have a phone order to pick up? If not we are closed» rude and not what your hours state. I will be looking for a new teriyaki joint that will welcome my repeat business. This is certainly not the only one in town as I pass them on every corner now a days.

Have ordered teriyaki from this Kami Teriyaki three times. The beef teriyaki is always good(not the best) and they sear it more if you ask them to. Their portions are also larger than other teriyaki places and the sauce is thicker. However, the man at the counter can use some service skills. He is not friendly and is rather curt. A sincere hello and smile can work wonders for ones business. Or maybe that’s too much to ask.

Not bad, but not amazing. Salad dressing was super watery. Have been to better places before.

I drive pass this teriyaki every single day from home to work. Today, I finally gave it a try. Nothing much about the service the waiter didn’t have to do much since we ordered at the counter and got ourselves the water. When we were eating, he played with his laptop and it was a little loud. My hubby ordered chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu combo. It was alright, the chicken katsu was crispy and chicken teriyaki was flavorful. I wasn’t in luck I guess. My chicken yakisoba was way too salty and boring. I had to drank my whole 32 oz soda and still could only eat half the plate. Will I comeback? Maybe. Not yakisoba tho.

My favorite teriyaki place so far! The food is great(I can only speak for the chicken teriyaki because it’s so good I haven’t tried anything else), portions are huge, prices are good for how much you get(especially a great deal on the kids chicken teriyaki). They don’t try to skimp you by using a section of the tray for salad. It comes in a separate container and you get a lot of it. Good thing, because it’s yummy! The salad is always crisp and their dressing is light and tasty. I see a lot of comments about the service, but I think people who feel that way probably just don’t spend much time talking to the guy who is always at the front. True, he doesn’t smile a lot, but he’s a super nice guy and just has a different communication style. Not everyone is bubbly and outgoing. Cut him some slack!

This place hands down probably teriyaki in Marysville. Just with their portions and sauce and the food in general is great. I usually get their chicken teriyaki, or chicken yakisoba with gyozas or egg rolls. And everytime it has been amazing. I usually call ahead of time and pick up the food to go. And almost everytime it is ready and hot. My only feedback and the reason I can’t do 5 stars is the customer service. It’s never welcoming whether on phone or in person. And I think I have never seen them smile… Ever.

Really good teriyaki place in Maysville. Quick, and the price is fair for what you get.

We love this place! It’s our go to teriyaki joint. We get the spicy chicken teriyaki, Mongolian beef, and gyoza. It’s always delicious. The customer service is awesome. They have always been friendly, had my order ready in 10 minutes, and they have punch cards that you can store on the counter instead of in your wallet. Delicious!

Definitely one of the better teriyaki places I’ve tried in Marysville so far. The meal«General Tso’s Chicken» is to die for. Delicious! I made the«mmmm» sound every time I took a bite. Mongolian beef is meh… but I’ve been spoiled by another place from that.

I’ve passed this nearly every day for a year and never stopped in. A few days ago, though, I was craving some teriyaki and decided to give it a shot despite the minimalist advertising and signage. In short, I am so glad that I did! I’ve read some negative reviews about the customer service here but I experienced none of that. My service was exceptional. My to-go order was ready in less than 10 minutes and everyone was extremely friendly. The food was phenomenal. My combo plate of pork and chicken was a huge portion and delicious. I also had an order potstickers that were very flavorful and a great value. I definitely will be back and am excited to become a regular customer. Kami has won me over!
