I was hoping to purchase some low carb bread other goodies at just for the health of it… well surprise surprise i should have read the previous posters warnings… everything i bought was expired or expiring in a few days. I couldn’t even eat any of it and there are no returns. I was out almost $ 45.00. I will buy products elsewhere.

If you’re looking for some good low-carb or gluten free this is the place! Lil shop that’s kinda hidden on the State strip. Prices are somewhat reasonable. Overall pretty happy with service and products purchased.

If you are looking for food that is good for your health maybe you should reconsider this store. Almost every store insures that they rotate their products to keep them within the sell by or best by date stamped on the product. It is rare to find a product in any store that has not been pulled from the shelves and discarded before the freshness date on the package. I was delighted to see the store in Marysville, and went in just to look around. I ended up buying 9 products. When I got home I noticed that 5 of the 9 products were outdated. Outdated and sold in a health food store!!! This really set me aback. I decided to take them back to get a refund based on that they should have been pulled and discarded before becoming outdated. Some were several months and nearly a year outdated. I do not know how a new store gets such outdated products on the shelves. Or maybe it has been in Marysville longer that I was aware of. The girl at the stores counter acted as if she was indignant about someone returning a product for being outdated. She told me that the products were still good to eat even if they are long outdated. This is contrary to all the health related information I have read over the years. If you intend to shop here I suggest that you check the pull by dates before buying their products, as you may not be allowed to get a refund. I found one of the outdated products tasted old and so I check the pull dates. It was outdated and this got me started on checking the other 8 products. The store would not give me a refund on the opened product as it was opened. I had to assume she would not take it back as it was opened and so she could not place it back on the shelf for someone else to buy. She did refund the purchase price on the other outdated products. You will have to be careful to pick the pull date before opening the product. If it is not fresh it cannot be returned if it has been opened. So buyer beware!!!

Learned about Julian low carb breads today, so searched online for the nearest carrier. Was pleased to find«Just For the Health of It» near my house, and its enthusiastic, friendly owner was in! Nice smaller health food store worth patronizing. Loved the bread and got more recommendations for delicious products. Yay!

If you are looking for a gluten free and low carb friendly place, this is where you go. Sheli the owner and operator was very friendly and quick to assist when I needed help finding products. I only stopped by to pick up some zero carb bread and ended up buying more stuff.

I have been gluten-free for many years, and am delighted that Just for the Health of It has come to Marysville. It is a great store with a huge variety of tasty, gluten-free products. They strive to beat other stores’ prices and are very helpful to customers. I shop there regularly. It is THE place to go when I want to make a delicious gluten free meal for myself and my non-gluten-free husband because everything tastes so good.

This gluten-free specialty shop is easy to miss but well worth the trip! Not only are 90% of their products gluten-free, many products also cater to other food allergies such as eggs, nuts and dairy. For anyone with these food allergies, this is the place to shop. I stopped in for the first time the other day and the store keeper was very helpful and friendly, she even let me know when I’d accidentally grabbed an item that did have gluten. This little store was a life saver for someone who was recently diagnosed as gluten-intolerant. So far every product I’ve tried tastes great and is also comparable in price to buying online without having to buy things in bulk. This shop is a win-win for anyone who’s gluten-free!
