I was a little tentative going in, but she made me feel very comfortable quickly. Kristi really knows her stuff and recognized that I was strong enough to handle her SRT type work easily. And WOW, SRT is amazing. It solves the problem, not just the symptom. She is one of 30 certified SRT practitioners in the US. It is a very specialized and structured type of therapy to learn and I appreciate that she took the time to do so. She was not interested in just getting through massage school to get a job, she really understands issues and how to address them. I went in with hamstring/hip tendonitis and we found all sorts of knots and tight points for her to work on. She is not afraid to get to the point of the problem. Muscles are muscles and we should not be embarrassed to have our gluts worked on. I lift a lot of weights and was pretty sore when I went in, I felt really good walking out. This is a one woman show– so don’t expect the whole 10 person spa type business running. She is great at what she does. Unfortunately because she is such a small business, insurance is not really involved with her. But her prices are really great. My ½ hour therapy session– which really ran for an hour of hands on– cost me $ 55. She also offers a monthly membership.
