Everything was great, just very poor customer service. Maybe it’s just a bad night but there’s two other people here but we have received no attention.

Normally, I would give this place 5 stars. I have been coming here since I was sixteen every Friday until I moved south. Now I come here whenever I get the chance. Service was normally always great(Leslie is amazing and like family to me) and the food is ALWAYS amazing. However, this time, service was the worst I have ever had at this restaurant. I ordered the clam strips and fries. They always taste amazing. They still did. However, when I poured the ketchup on my plate, I put some fries in… the ketchup was HEAVILY fermented. I called my server over, and let her know. She looked at me like I was crazy. She then took the bottle, opened it and sniffed it and confirmed it was fermented. Then she took another bottle off of a table, opened it and put her nose up against it and sniffed it as well. That is really unsanitary. So I asked for a new bottle of ketchup. She hesitated and asked why. I replied, «if the ketchup on our table was fermented, that one could be too.» So after asking her multiple times, she finally goes back to get a new bottle. After I am half way done with my food, she finally comes back with a new bottle of ketchup. She then never came to check back up on us. My boyfriend sat there with an empty drink. I kept looking over at them to see if they would come over. By the time we were done with our meal, I asked to speak to a manager. When I voiced my complaints, the manager became argumentative and replied, «what do you want me to do about it?» We explained how unsanitary it is to have the fermented ketchup out and she said ketchup ferments after 3 days and they rotate ketchup every 4 days… which that isn’t true about ketchup. It takes about a week, and that ketchup was so fermented that it tasted like ketchup flavored beer. We were upset by the attitude that was given to us by our server and by the manager. We told her we intended to pay for our meal, but we just wanted to inform her that we felt like service could be better. Instead, the manager argued with us that the server already ‘fixed’ the problem. We told her the problem was with her attitude and inattentive-ness. The manager seemed to not think that her server was in the wrong and thought we wanted free food. I have come to this restaurant many many times. I have never had a problem with any servers there. This is the first time. It will not keep me from coming back, because I love the food. But I was very displeased with how we were treated. In the end, the manager comped our meal(despite our protests that we didn’t want her to do that.) This was my boyfriend’s first impression of this restaurant. I have been bragging how this restaurant was so amazing and my favorite. And I was really let down that his first experience was a really negative one when all I have had before this was positive. Hopefully, you guys make some changes. This was a let down.

If you can get past the looks, this place is amazing. It obviously needs a «woman’s touch,» but it doesn’t feel or look dirty or grimy in any way, it’s just run down. I love the food here. It’s always done exactly as it should be and is always delicious. We’ve been many times and always gotten great meals. My favorite thing about this place, though, is the customer service. It is absolutely wonderful. We feel totally welcome and like a part of their family whenever we visit. They have gone above and beyond for us, even on our very first visit, and they catch little things that no other place has ever noticed before(like an accidental side of sausage when it was supposed to be bacon). I will come back repeatedly and I recommend you give them a try too.

Worst restaurant we’ve been to. The place smells badly of body odor, seats duct taped, disgusting everything. My mother had prime rib that tasted microwaved and sucked. I had a steak which also sucked. The only thing tolerable were the fries. The bread was gross. The vegetables are nasty canned ones. Basically this place will make you throw up… STAYAWAY!

Where do I start… For one it’s in the middle of Marysville next to a railroad track with a fresh scene of the homeless begging for money and even an occasional crack head going by the window seat. Just before you walk in you get the feeling you should of ran back to your car and not even open the door. You go in and thats when you enter hell from the stench of BO and the Biker lady that got left behind from sturgis in the 80’s. Then you see the 4 generations of duct tape that hold the seats together. Oh don’t forget your camp fire utensils and the plastic cups I remember from Alfys pizza. Enough of the compliments… The food, oh god the food! DONTEATTHERE. Make a escape and leave FAST! Don’t even look back and this is why. The best and most expensive things on the menu deserve their special placard and thats the prime rib dinner, surf and turf, and steak and prawns. The steak was road kill and very nasty. The prime rib was old, possibly a couple weeks old and reheated from a microwave. The salad was what I believed to be made by the dish washer while the biker lady(our waitress) was deep frying the fish and shrimp that was from oil that has more miles on it than Don’s farm tractor that ran over the cow he turned into steak and prime rib from last year. Well you get the point now spread the word so they can mow this shit hole down. I lost $ 56 on the three of us.

I’d give zero stars… I wouldn’t stay to try the food because the place is disgusting!!! There is no way I would risk eating there if what the patrons see is filthy and I mean seriously gross from greasy, sticky, dead bugs piled up on the window sill. .just nasty… I hate to see what the kitchen looks like… YUCK!

Well, gave this place a try for dinner on a Friday night due to the window stating prime rib dinner. Wasn’t impressed with the meal at all!!! For starters, the plate was a mess of butter packs and plastic sauce cups like you would expect at a fair. Second… Who serves corn with prime rib(canned at that)? Third… I ordered a medium cut. The cut was raw on one half and medium on the other. It was so salty on the medium half though that it was horrid all through. Top that off as the fattiest cut I have ever seen(a third of the cut was pure white fat). My wife had a club sandwich. She liked the overall flavor but the bread was so over toasted it ripped her mouth to shreds. Kids had burgers and grilled cheese. They didn’t finish either. Small drink cups leading to needing refills constantly and a edit stall that is non exist and with an almost empty dining area. Overall experience for the overpriced meal will not tempt me to come back again. It also feels dingy due to the outdated and unkempt state of the building, interior, staff, and dish ware. As a local looking for a good go to restaurant, I really wanted to love the place. Sadly, I just didn’t :(

Been here for lunch a few times with colleagues, none of whom are picky like me. On the most recent occasion, I had the reuben with a side of potato salad and iced tea. The food was serviceable. The toasted rye was somewhat soggy, but the sandwich was hot. The potato salad was average. Our waitress was friendly and on-the-ball, and we felt like we could sit there for an hour and b.s. about work. Unfortunately, the place needs a deep facelift. In places, it is so battered that you can’t tell if it’s clean – especially the bathrooms. That said, we still left sated and content.

The food was great however the bus lady was extremely rude when we asked for our food and even had the nerve to talk about my mother’s and I asking for our food when we could see it in the window getting cold due to it sat there for ten minutes because the waitress is the only one who can deliver food and take money from customers leaving… Advice to the owners get rid of that bus lady if u want more customers in here because I will never return.

Went here for a first time based on some of the more positive reviews. There were a few girls working but only one that seemed to be a waitress since she was running around and not very friendly. The food they brought wasn’t what we ordered; my boyfriend asked for onion rings and got fries, and she had to go back to grab the right plate for me; in addition to my sons pancake didn’t have what he ordered with it. My french dip was a mediocre bit of roast beef on a roll, but for $ 10 I thought it could’ve had some cheese or something on it that would make it less boring. My boyfriend asked for a side of ranch and the girl brought him what was basically a bowl of plain mayo. Then there was another woman that came out to talk to the staff about their scheduling issues where everyone could hear. What they lacked in professionalism and tasty food could’ve been made up for in friendliness but that was also missing, and all was overpriced. We won’t be back.

This place has some great hamburgers but as for everything else I don’t know. I highly recommend the Whammy burger which was delicious. It came with two patties, bacon, ham, cheese, lettuce tomatoes, pickles, and mayonnaise and was huge enough to be my lunch and dinner. My heart is still recovering. The owners were also really friendly and helped me lookup a nearby locksmith as I had locked my keys an phone in the car. The servers were very attentive. Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s anything fancy but if you want original, tasty, American food while getting plastered on the weekend and aren’t worried about all the calories Don’s is the place to go.

I go here all the time for breakfast. I love all of their breakfast options! You seat yourself so it’s a laid back atmosphere. Great customer service, always asking if you need a refill on your drink! They are open all day everyday!

I could only give this place 3 stars because, while the food was good, the place lacks the cleanliness that I would expect as minimally acceptable in any establishment. The belgian waffle is fluffy and I enjoyed mine w/the strawberries and cream… which were piled high. My husband had the #1 breakfast and said his eggs over easy were perfect and the sausage links were incredibly tasty. Service was swift, except that we never received a check, so we just went to the counter and told the gentleman ringing up other customers our table seating and paid. However, during the course of our breakfast and use of the restroom, we found the table dividers, the tabletop quick menus and the shakers and bottles to be greasy and filthy… and the bathroom was not acceptable at all. Nowhere to hang a purse and there was NOWAY I would put it on the floor. Overall, the food would get a 4 from me, it was hot, tasty and priced proportionally. The service would get a 3 and the atmosphere and cleanliness a definite 1. Dive in and dine… go for the food, and not much else.

I was feeling sleepy and hungry so I pulled over for dinner at Don’s. I ordered an NY steak with coffee. Full disclosure; I am an indiscriminate coffee drinker and I am perfectly happy with McDonald’s coffee. I really enjoyed Don’s coffee. My steak came with a green salad, garlic bread, carrots from a bag and a baked potato. The steak was medium rare as I’d requested and I was very happy with my meal. The service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely be back. «Foodies», don’t bother.

Food: 4⁄5 Atmosphere: 2⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 Cleanliness: 4⁄5 Price/value: 2⁄5 This is like a 24 hour truck stop place you would find along a highway somewhere in Montana. Very informal, seat yourself, staff wear jeans and t-shirts. This place is really not bad, but my biggest complaint is about the price. Most entrees are around $ 10-$ 12. Went there for breakfast. Two waitresses standing around, and trust me there is plenty of cleaning that could be done. Doesn’t anyone take pride in their work environment? The only one I would recommend this place to is the health department. Don’t waste your hard earned dollars here.

Greasey spoon for sure. As we pulled up Husband said, «this place is for dried up alcoholics.» So true. Blah food, smelly bathrooms, sticky table. Lots of people getting cocktails with their fried breakfasts. Blah all around. Just excited there wasn’t cigarette ash in my food. Pretty busy on a Saturday morning, and it’s an older place, so they must be doing something right, I am just too fancy for this place.
