Stopped by for lunch with coworkers. The complimentary chips and salsa were really good and so was the chicken burrito I ordered. Burrito was huge. Definitely a fork and knife burrito. I was especially impressed with the service. Our server, I swear, must have a personal interest in the restaurant because she was so nice and attentive. :)

I got the super burrito Ranchero style and it was amazing. The place is definitely small, but I still give it a 5. The veggies and meat taste unbelievably fresh!

Now this is a place I have went to since its opening. And I ate here a lot! I moved out of the area for a few years and decided to give them a shot.
Boy! Have things changed. I remember the place was thriving, great food quality, and great customer service. After reading some of the prior reviews, I have to agree. Customer service is lacking, Chili Verde was below par. My plate had obviously been ready to serve for a few mins because the food was cold, beans had hardened down. As for the salsa, it tasted like it was stored in a refridge that needs to have some baking soda boxes replaced to cut the food odor.
All of the prior lower scoring reviews seems to have the same complaint. Shop was slow while quality and customer service was low. Sorry Cilantros, I won’t be back either.

Excellent food! The place was empty when my friend and I arrived on a Friday night. Not usually a good sign. The loan server was a kind young girl. The food was excellent. I had a sauce covered chicken burrito and my friend had a al pastor burrito.
We will go back for sure!

Came in for the first time, and just for a taco and a beer. The waitress was the nicest thing about the place, but not perfect. The shop is comfy but dirty. There were plates and napkins of food under my table. But no napkins on the tables!
I ordered the Super taco with steak. It was dressed and seasoned well, but the steak was so dry that I had take out a few pieces that I couldn’t chew. That and a lot of unchewable grizzle. Fantastic chips and nice salsa, but the taco sucked. Plus there wasn’t anything Super about it. $ 3.25 and it’s the same size as any other taco.
2stars for friendly staff and good chips.

I’ve been coming to this small, family owned restaurant for decades. If you have not tried fish tacos before, you don’t know what you are missing! This is a small business you should support!

I went here for the first time and got the enchilada lunch special. The sauce on the enchilada it was good — it was orange, not the red one, and it had different spices in it. They serve Pepsi here so that’s a plus. There is some kind of guarantee post on the wall but I couldn’t read the sign because of the weird placement. It had something to do with preparing the food and making it fresh instead of having it on hand already. I’ll come back and try something else next time.

I ordered the Mexican wrap today and asked for hot sauce. They added that but also include the pico de gallo, which I can’t eat. I brought it back and they promptly made me a new one without the pico de gallo, even though I wasn’t clear in making my order that I didn’t want the pico. No hassles and very nice about it. I appreciate the good customer service!

Really fresh and delicious! We were driving through town from our fishing trip and discovered this gem. I highly recommend it. We had the fish tacos, tacos al pastor, and enchilada with rice and refried beans. So yummy!

I come here too often for my own good. Ever since discovering this place (through Unilocal) I have been in love! The fish tacos are amazing and so are the nachos. DO NOT get me started on the chips and salsa. amazing! They have always treated me with so much respect and the ambience is great. This time I got a shrimp taco and an asada taco and they were the best tacos I have ever had.

Went here today from lookin at the great reviews here on Unilocal and it didn’t disappoint. I would recommend this place to any of my friends. I believe it was the owner who helped me today. She was a very nice and pleasant lady, she even stopped having her snack to help me personally.

Quaint, little hole in the wall, with fast and friendly service.
Their salsa is fresh and flavorful and their food is tasty and well portioned — the portions are not so huge that they leave you wishing you had not over eaten. Their prices are just right, too.
The restaurant is small, but when we called ahead, they were willing and able to accommodate a table of 6 of us… they even had our food ready, when we arrived. The place can get full, especially around the lunch hour, but I have never had to wait for a table and it has never been so crowded that I feel I am knocking elbows with the neighboring tables. If you’re on the go, their take out is also fast and easy. They have a take out window to add to the convenience.

Best fish tacos anywhere, hands down. But today I’m getting the shrimp taco, also fabulous. The salsa is soo good I usually take an order home. If you are in the yuba sutter area, and are hungry for super delicious food, come here! The only negative is ciscos is closed on Sunday, and that’s the day I’m usually in town. I try to arrange my trips to be here M-​Sat just so I can eat here. The beans are yummy, salsa and guacamole made fresh, and the people who work here are wonderful. Totally my favorite taqueria of all time.
