My first experiences here were positive.
I have been to various locations of Office Max (mostly NJ – bought my first computer at OM), but not recently because they don’t have any where we lived for 10 years in Northern VA.
We have been greeted by more than one person on the floor and asked if we were finding what we wanted. Sometimes we needed help, other times we were browsing. In all cases, we felt helped, not pressured.
Sales folks were informative. I did get what I thought was a «steal» on a 22-​in AOC HD Flat Screen Computer monitor for $ 40 off ($ 109.99) and I have yet to find comparable prices elsewhere. This replaces a 17-​inch CRT that I have to either give away or pay $ 5 for environmentally friendly disposal.
I definitely will check here when shopping for office supplies.
