Lumber Liquidators

My husband and I purchased 1325 square feet of natural red oak for our home. Because of the large quantity and the distance to the store, we chose to have it delivered to our home. We paid an additional $ 400 to have it delivered and brought directly into the house. There was only one person that came on the truck the day of delivery, and being that it was 64 boxes my husband helped him bring it into our house. It was very heavy and took quite a bit of time. He didn’t mind but really there should have been two delivery people for that large of an order. The driver pointed out two boxes that were damaged. He said that they were damaged when he picked them up from the warehouse and that he had taken photos. He made a notation on our paperwork. He said that he would either bring four new boxes out or they would be delivered by Fed Ex. When my husband called the next day the store did not not know what he was talking about but said that they would research it. Anthony, who was our salesperson called us back and said that the corporate office said that we needed to bring the damaged boxes to the store before they would replace them. We told him that we did not think that we should have to to bring the boxes back as we paid to have them delivered and that it was a 3 hour round trip for us to the store. He called the corporate office again and explained our situation but they wouldn’t budge. Anthony agreed that we were right and should not have to drive there. He personally drove to our home that night when he got off work to pick the boxes up. Not only that, he met us the next day with four new boxes. Not only was he an outstanding salesperson the day we bought the flooring he went above and beyond in customer service after the fact. That is more than I can say for the company’s customer service. Honestly if it wasn’t for him we would have returned the whole order. On the bright side the floors are gorgeous!

Best customer service EVER! Friendly, helpful and supportive of the veterans. Highly recommend this store and staff as number ONE! They worked with us one on one each visit from purchase to delivery and even with our need to return excess flooring. Shane and Anthony and all the guys there are the BEST!

Anthony was a great help! We went to the store about 3 weeks ago before closing on our home. We told him we weren’t ready to purchase but he still took all of the time explaining the different options to us! We finally closed on the house and headed back in. He was knowledgeable on all of the products and didn’t mind putting up with my shenanigans (I can be cheap I’ve been told, and somewhat whiny when it comes to money). Of course I picked out a very popular new laminate… the stock was low so we have to wait for it to come in… other than that the experience was great and I will definitely head back when I’m a big girl and can afford 5.99 a sq ft for real hickory hardwood. For now– completely happy with my laminate purchase and do recommend the Martinsburg store. Oh– and Shane was a hoot!
