This was a very nice hotel. Most important or rant thing was it was clean. Very clean. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and they paid attention to detail that most housekeepers do not. The entire staff was quite friendly and helpful. We also enjoys the free breakfast. It was the usual, eggs bacon or sausage and waffles with pastries and coffee and juices. It was always well stocked and fresh. Great stay

Ridiculous place. 3 of us, after a wedding, checked in to find a king sized bed. Went to the front desk and they said they were all out of double beds(although we had a reservation?) but there was a pull out couch in the ‘suite’. Coming from a wedding I thought I must be tipsy because I didn’t see a couch. Go up on the slowest elevator on earth, no couch. Called the front desk to no answer-go back downstairs and find the front desk receptionist playing Uno and eating pizza with friends in the lobby. He said he wasn’t sure why there wasn’t a couch but he would find a roll out bed. Got delivered with no sheets or pillow. Called back downstairs, and again he was surprised it wasn’t what we needed. Told him we had enough pillows but needed a blanket. He brought a MATTRESSCOVER. Finally said forget it and the three of us slept in the king bed.

ABSOLUTELYTERRIBLE. The staff was rude and aggressive. I had items stolen from my room from the housekeeping staff and nothing was done to remedy the situation. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at, primarily because the staff was AWFUL.

I have stayed at this motel many times. The rooms are always clean and the air conditioner is wonderful on a hot summer night. I would recommend this motel. Free breakfast is always nice.

I wasn’t billed upon checkout, instead they started pulling money out two months later. My account went in the negative. I asked for a receipt to at least see what my charges were and never received one. They continued to pull money out and I had to call in a complaint to corporate to even get someone to contact me with the receipt. Upon the receipt I saw that more rooms were booked on my block than I had originally reserved. I wasn’t aware that they would allow people to come in and book extra rooms on my block without me even being notified. I asked if they could please wait for me to make up some money to pay the remaining balance, they didn’t. They pulled the rest out. The staff is unresponsive and discourteous. I will not be booking my block of rooms there ever again. They’ve missed out on thousands in business and obviously don’t value their customers. I advise you never stay here.

My family and I checked in for a two night stay(we were attending an event that took place in the party room in the basement) and about ten minutes after arriving we checked back out. Our rooms were outdated and extremely bare-bones for the price. Our comforters on our beds seemed to be regular home bedding instead of something made for a hotel. Our rooms also had a funny smell that may have been due to the massive construction going on in the hotel. Speaking of construction, it seems as if we came right in the middle of a major makeover. The whole lobby was torn up(floors were ripped up with exposed bolts in the floor and uneven concrete) and there was no much space to take a breath and rest while we were waiting to check in. Maybe this place will be nicer after the construction is over, but for right now it’s definitely not worth over $ 100 a night! Luckily there’s a very nice Holiday Inn right down the road!

In contrast to the place we were supposed to stay, this place is a palace! LCDTV with a lot of HD stations, a gym, clean pool, and free breakfast definitely. It’s unfortunate that most of our training is in Falling Waters, WV, but this place at least makes our stay bareable. It’s within walking distance to a few decent food places(from what I hear) so definitely consider this place if you ever have to stay in Martinsburg.
