I have used Nak for Plumbing several times over the last, say, 10 years? He has replaced water heaters, done the plumbing for a kitchen remodel, fixed leaks, installed toilets, and everything in between. They are the best. John N. looks at the problem and tries his best to fix what you need done in the most reasonable way possible. He never overcharges and is always a pleasure to deal with. I trust his judgment completely.

I have used Nak for various jobs over the last 7 years, and have been very happy with their work every time. 2007– Installed kitchen faucet 2008– Installed Caroma toilet 2010– Repaired an old toilet in the second bathroom 2014– Installed a new toilet in the third bathroom This last time, I asked John about their contractor’s license. He said the company just went through a reorg. and has a new CA Contractor’s license as of December 13, 2014. They are also bonded. The things that never changed over the years are that John is very easy to talk to, patiently answers all your questions, makes good recommendations about toilets, faucets, etc. that will meet your specific needs and does an outstanding job when he or his plumbers do the work. They always show up on time. John did the work himself to install the last toilet and I noticed how hard he works to do a great job. He drained every last bit of water out of the old toilet before he pulled it out so he could take it out of the house without dripping. He said that way he can look at the floor under the toilet and tell the source of any leaks or if anything needs to be corrected. He is also very conscientious about cleaning as he goes along and everything looks great when he is done. This company quotes the job as a fixed fee, so there are no surprises, and the embedded labor rate is lower than the large plumbing company I used to use. John didn’t markup the price of the toilet he installed, but just charged me what the plumbing supply place charged him. His product recommendations have proved to be right on – the Caroma toilet was on the expensive side, but it has never even clogged once in six years and works fine in every way. I asked John to look at my 16 year-old water heater, and he didn’t think I needed to replace it yet unless«you like to waste money». When it does go, Nak is the first place I will call.

We have used Nak for Plumbing a couple times now, and we really like them. The first time our hot water heater went out on Christmas day, and the second time was for a variety of small repairs, replacements, and a fussy leak. They are very good at explaining the problem, finding a solution, and keeping the costs reasonable. They are my first and only call.

Nak for Plumbing came out to fix a clogged toilet on a Friday afternoon. On the following Wednesday the toilet overflowed causing at least $ 15,000 damage to our house. I called to get their insurance information and evidently they are no longer a licensed and bonded plumbing company.

These guys were great! David and John were so nice and easy going I felt totally confident. We had been smelling natural gas for a few days and thought we should call. They came out that same day and made a huge job sound easy. They fixed our gas line as well as a few other issues they spotted while checking everything. We liked them so much, that we decided not to go with our home warranty! Also they gave us the best estimate out of all the ones we had previously. I will call them for all our future plumbing needs, although I hope we never need to.

Prompt response, clear communication/explanations, reasonable pricing, professionalism, & most importantly quality work. Even when we were clearly desperate. As in– BIGTIME flooding at night. Total of 3 residential jobs for us so far in as many years: 2 emergencies(including our house main that our neighbors noticed by the time it ran out into the street & a recent leak from a old pipe joint under our floor) & another routine repair of a refrigerator line. . On this latest leak job, they pointed out a bigger unrelated problem with galvanized straps/clamps on our copper pipes(big no-no leading to galvanic corrosion & eventual leaks). After our 1st emergency, they’ve been our go-to guys. They listen carefully, respect our wishes, & seem to enjoy their craft. They’ll be the ones to replace our water heater cause they’re the team we trust with our home.

They repaired a leak in a drain line, it would of made more sense to replace the whole line to prevent future leaks which cost me double in the long run, the job had to be done again. Not happy.
