I really like this place– I’ve dined here twice have and each time it was a slightly different experience but both times excellent. My first time here was a weeknight, it was very quiet and intimate. People having quiet conversation and enjoying one another’s company. That night I had the Margherita Flatbread and my date had the Pasta Carbonara. Both were excellent. Another thing I noticed on my first trip was the great wine list. It’s not extensive by any means. It is however well thought out. They have some very nice selections in my opinion. On my second trip I had the ribeye(which is not a cut of meat I’d normally order), and my date had the Roasted Chicken and wild mushroom pappardelle. Again, both dishes were excellent. My Ribeye was beautifully presented, and not a cheap, overly fatty cut. It was cooked perfectly to my specification and served«New York steakhouse style»(sliced). It came with smashed potatoes and asparagus. If you have never had this type of smashed potatoes you are missing out. I think I’ve had them only in Italian restaurants. The ambiance on the weekend night was much more bustling. The place was busier, lots of groups– a bit louder. If you are in the area give this great local place a try.

My friend and I visited on 1÷9÷16. We sat at the bar and the bartender was funny, helpful and hardworking. They bought out bread and house butter… pretty meh. I had the lasagna which was cheesy and full of flavor and my friend had the chicken pasta which was creamy and delicious. We also had the calamari and it was awesome and we loved the fried asparagus. Great atmosphere. I would not hesitate to return.

Very satisfied. One of the better restraints in the area we have experienced. We will be back. Pasta is fresh and flavorful!

My boyfriend and I ate here last night and we were very pleased with our visit. The hostess and our waitress were very sweet and attentive. Our food was delicious and the menu had a couple interesting new choices. We had the appetizer that included fried lemons and we were both very surprised with how good they were. The balsamic butter is interesting although we both agreed that we prefer the old fashioned olive oil and balsamic bread dip. Our entrees were very good and I was a big fan of the sangria. Really glad we decided to give it a try.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. The deco is plain, tables are covered with paper for easy cleaning. Our waitress was friendly. The food coming out of the kitchen was slow, especially when there are only 6 diners in the entire place. Four slices of stale bread was brought out with a house butter. They did heat the bread to give the sensation of freshness. We both ordered the chicken which was recommended by the waitress. The chicken was shredded over pasta and a white sauce, salt was needed. All tables were bare and we had to ask for salt/pepper. For $ 16.95 I was expecting more than a large soup bowl with stale bread. After adding salt it tasted better, but still what is offered here is 20−30% more than elsewhere in Augusta. PS the chicken photo is actually what we got.

My husband and I came here because we were feeling like Italian! We decided that we would share so we got an app, salad and entrée to split. We started with their calamari app… Which also had shrimp, zucchini, and fried lemons… the fried lemons were my favorite part of the whole meal… Who would have thought fried lemons would be so yummy! We then got the Caesar salad… On romaine wedges… Very good and included anchovy. Then our entrée of lasagna came… Thank god we decided to share because the size was huge! The lasagna was decent… The noodles were a little over done and not enough ricotta for my taste, but then again my husband is not a fan of ricotta. Defiantly worth a try if you haven’t eaten here.

This has been on our list for some time. Our friends introduced us to this restaurant and raved about their entrees. Yesterday I had the pasta carbonara and my wife had the shrimp risotto. The pasta carbonara is excellent. My wife liked the shrimp risotto but would likely try something else in the future. They had some unique draft beers on rotation and delicious Sangria as well. I would definitely return to try out their Secondi menu as our friends also raved about their rib eye.

What a great evening. The service was terrific and the food was even better. We had a salad course and I had the Gnocchi which was delish. The bar area was a great after dinner spot and we felt right at home. Recommend this spot for anyone who enjoys Italian food. Convenient location with great atmosphere. I look forward to coming back on my next trip to Augusta!!!

Absolutely delicious Italian fare, had a great Caesar salad with a Parmesan crisp, delicious onions, and just the right amount of dressing. Not an anchovy fan but they added some nice flavor. For dinner I had the lasagna and wow it was outstanding! Great meat sauce, drowned in tasty cheese, but interestingly it wasn’t so heavy that it weighed me down. Homemade ice cream and sorbet were a perfect finish to a fabulous dinner. Good wine selection & they feature wine dinners from time to time. Will be back next time in Augusta.

I was not disappointed, but not overly impressed by this place. I agree with the previous review that they are trying to pull off the new trendy restaurant but don’t quite execute it. My reasoning is mainly with the food; it’s nothing special. Only one appetizer(the flatbread) stood out amongst our party. We were not impressed with the caprese salad(mostly just halved cherry tomatoes), the risotto had way too much garlic, the eggplant parmesan was bland. The service, however, was outstanding, and the beer was not overpriced. I will try this place again.

Very good Italian. I got the tomato basil risotto, and i was very pleased. Lots of flavor and the amount you get is sufficient for a one-person meal. Will be coming back and trying new things, updating as i see fit.

Wasn’t impressed. You can tell they are trying for that trendy new kitchen vibe but they can’t quite pull it off. My friend had the chicken pasta and I must say it was outstanding. I would definitely suggest it to anyone. The rest of the meal just didn’t do it. I had the carbonara. You could tell it sat under the heat lamp. It was a congealed pasta mess. The boys had the scallops. It was tiny. They should really move them to the small plates or add some mashed potatoes. The boys were still hungry when we left. My whiskey had bugs in it. The bathroom has a painted vanity that’s chipping and looks dirty. They keep a gross plunger/toilet bowl scrubber in the stall. Bathrooms need an inexpensive upgrade and good cleaning. I felt kinda dirty coming out. Glad we had a gift certificate!

This place is phenomenal! They make their own pasta and it tastes amazing. I really enjoyed the California flatbread appetizer. The Shrimp Scampi was flooded with flavor and zest. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. A repeat visit is in my very near future. Even my 11yr old daughter raved about the food! The décor is modern and truly above my expectations for Augusta! Glad to have Cucina 503 on my list of favorite restaurants. Well desert, I never order it but the desert was to die for. Worth the 3 miles I will have to run tomorrow.

Will not be coming again and will not recommend. Food: Not good. Appetizer and entrée arrived at the same time. We got two — can’t remember names as they had fancy italicized names. One was fairly terrible and we returned untouched the second was barely good enough for human consumption. Appetizers and bread was decent enough. Facility: nice ambient atmosphere. Good for a night out. A lot of effort went into setting up the place. Service: started off really good but went downhill faster than gravity could have allowed. Server asked«how was the food.» Our reply«terrible». You would expect some sort of acknowledgement/explanation or offer to take it off the check but none came. Another manager at the end asked the same thing and on hearing our reply kept eyes glued to the table before sheepishly sulking away. Better Italian restaurants in Augusta — I would stay away from here.

Birthday dinner for my wife. We found this restaurant on open table and thought to give it a try. What a great choice! Our server Thomas was wonderful! The food was excellent and fresh. I had the swordfish and my wife had the chicken pasta dish. It was awesome! My brother in law had the short ribs and his girlfriend had the lasagna. Both dishes again were unbelievable good! It’s new so you must give Cucina 503 a try before everyone finds about it.
