I stayed at this Holiday Inn for 6 nights December 20 through December 26 to visit friends and family over Christmas. I had a great experience. On Christmas morning I had a Christmas stocking outside my door with popcorn, chocolate, an ornament, and a candy cane. Nice touch! My room was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly. I appreciated the microwave and fridge in the room and the fire place in the lobby. I travel a lot and get to stay in some very nice 4 and 5 star hotels. This was a great experience.

It’s a Holiday Inn, so what do you expect? It’s one of the nicest places to stay in Marshfield, which gives you an idea of the lodging choices. That said, it’s an ok property that I’ve never had major issues with after 50+ nights here, but my expectations are somewhat lite just because it’s a Holiday Inn…

Clean and nice, wish they had a balcony, didn’t go into the pool area just looked in, looked nice, they had a water slide(cool for the kids, if you have any w/you). Lost internet connection couldn’t get it back(when I got home same thing, had to refresh the system). Would stay again.

They seem to work hard to please. Has a very small town comfort from the check in to the room service right down to the cleaning ladies. This a an above ave Holliday Inn and Conf Center. Draw back is the lack of some of the extras. Sure there is a slide in the pool but my water slide days are over! I stay for business and this is where they are lacking. No business center(unless you count the CPU in the lobby). I had a bad experience because I need to print something for work and the printer was out of ink. Hey did not have a back up so I was out of luck! Shame on me or waiting until the night before to print something I needed the next day! The woman working was very apologetic. Easily the best hotel in Marshfield.

I honestly believe this hotel is maybe a 2 or 3 star relative to what it is. Showing 4 of 5 stars when I draft this review is a disservice to all. Consider this a correcting review. The only reason I stay here is that there are no better options. I’m angry about that. The rooms were clean… and the price was reasonable. It all went down hill from there. Beware.
Great value for the price. Me and three kids 12 and under. Nice pool with water slide kept them busy. 3 pool attendents though seemed a little like over kill. Pool nazis made it a little less relaxing. No food at the pool a real bummer for a family looking to hand out there a while. Room clean and comforable. Our room right off the lobby had a view of pretty park. We used the pull out sofa and at first I was a little annoyed that it was not made up when I pulled it out. But then I found pillow and blankets all freshly cleaned and tucked away in a nice little plastic container in the closet. I made up the bed no problem and it just felt cleaner. Grocery store right across the street and restaurant attached to hotel. Although we didn’t eat their the menu looked good and affordable.

Not bad. Not bad at all. 3.5 stars. We had a few annoyances about this place, though: 1. Called to inquire about a suite. Asked if the suite was two rooms. «Two rooms?», the confused clerk asked. «What do you mean? No, you’d have to book adjoining rooms, and that would be at the rate of two rooms…» At other hotels, a suite means two rooms — a bedroom, and a sitting area. Not at the Holiday Inn. Be aware. 2. They were renovating immediately adjacent to our room(the most expensive in the place). Drilling and grinding and banging(not a dirty joke, but rather, a construction description) starting at 9 am and continuing until 5 pm. Not conducive to R&R if you plan to spend any time at the hotel during the day. This should have been shared with us before we booked that room. 3. The suite overlooks the lobby. That is, while other rooms face a corridor wall, the suite door opens to the 3-story lobby. So, the noise carries REALLY well into your room. 4. Cleanliness. There were scuff marks and grime on the outside of the tub, and a hair on the toilet seat. YUCK. 5. Room setup. The couch is pushed up against the end of the bed. So, if you’re tall, your feet will hit it while you sleep. 6. Heater. Gawd, please fix it. You can’t just turn on the fan for constant noise — it has to be on heat or cool. So, once the room reaches that temperature, the unit turns off. The heat smelled awful and the cooling rattled and banged and clanged turning on and off, which woke me up about 10 times during the night. Ugh. 7. Cost. Pretty pricey for a chain hotel room, even with all the discounts we qualified for. Other than that, I love the location. Our windows faced a quiet neighborhood; there is a restaurant/bar right next door, and there’s a grocery store across the street.
