Fairfield Inn & Suites Marshall

Great service and clean rooms. A+++

We stumbled on this place late last night so we we’re not able to enjoy their indoor pool or excercise room (it was open 24 hrs too!)
Room was very clean, water pressure and shower nozzle wAs fabulous (this means a lot to us that need a strong hot shower to get going!)
The breakfast was to dye for! Eating area was large and nicely decorated. The spread had lots of choices; waffles with lots of fixings including walnuts raisins and cinnamon then there was scrambled eggs sausage biscuits toast and assorted cereals fruit and yogurts!
Coffee station was ok. I am pretty low key on coffee with my preference being Folgers or Duncan but their off brand wasn’t too bad. Did the mild and it was a bit bitter. May have just been an off day.
Lobby was very warm and inviting and had options on snacks and drinks for purchase of you wanted.
Traveled in a family of five with my youngest sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor. Very quiet and had all that I could possibly need for a good rest before continuing onto Arkansas!
Will definitely stop by again if ever in the area!!!

What a complete surprise to find this gem in lil olé Marshall Texas! We stayed four nights and were completely satisfied with all they had to offer. Traveled with our dad who was born and raised in Marshall and wanted to come back home to see family. The rooms were nice and clean and very comfortable considering young children were included in this trip. The swimming/​jacuzzi were such a welcome relief and very clean at all times. We enjoyed the front desk area where each morning the snack table had a different water mixed with fruit and snack crackers, very nice! The hospitality welcome which was held one evening to thank us for staying there was another surprise, the hostess was very nice and helpful she really made our stay pleasant. We hated to leave and head back to California. Next time we’re heading right back here and we hope it’s a repeat performance!

I cannot say enough about the professionalism of their staff, Horacio, Christine & Naji were exceptional. All of them made my family & I feel very welcome and at home. In this trip we stayed at 2 other hotels (Magnolia’s & Adolphus in Dallas) and we will choose to stay at Fairfield every time. The room was clean (thanks to Ana), bright, and the beds were comfortable. The facility felt safe and lit brightly. The surroundings were quite and we all wanted to sleep in every morning. We only had breakfast on our last day (wish we would have taken advantage of it all 3 days that we were there) and it was delicious. I don’t typically eat waffles but it was very easy to make and came out the way I like it, crispy in all the edges.
We will definitely stay here every time we come to Marshall. Thanks so much!

Conveniently located to the interstate & road food places (IHOP, Wafflehouse, McDonald’s), unbelievably friendly staff, comfortable room w/​amenities, and a good sized spread for breakfast. What is there not to love about this place?
The pool & gym were some of the best that I’ve seen at any Fairfield. This place looks as if it was just built, since it conveys an impression of newness in the same fashion of a new car smell. Although the hallways on this three-​level property were somewhat humid (not sure why), the A/​C within the room can get ice cold within minutes!
There didn’t seem to be any parking issues, since there was plenty of it to go around. Even the cookies that greet you at the door were as fresh as Mrs Fields! I’ll certainly be back at this Fairfield when traveling along I-​20 in east Texas.

The rooms are clean and the staff is diligent. I have been staying here about once per month for the past couple of years or so, and I feel appreciated as a customer.

This is a great gem in Marshall, TX. Usually the options aren’t so great when you get away from the larger towns in Texas. I was pleased there is a Marriott property in Marshall, as I travel there frequently for business.
This is my go-​to hotel for Marshall. It is clean, comfortable, and the staff has always been friendly. The location is convenient for getting around, as it is at the intersection of major highways. It is also fairly up-​to-​date. The room was quite comfortable.
The internet was free and reliable (always important for business travelers). However, I was a little disappointed at the accessibility of electrical outlets near the bed. Breakfast was pretty on-​par with this category of hotel.
All in all, I will definitely stay here again.

Three of us spent the night here on Dec 27, 2010 after driving just over 1,000 miles that long day. It was clean, comfortable, and a welcome sight. It is conveniently located near an I-​Hop restaurant, which is where we ate a late meal. We all enjoyed the hotel and would gladly return.

Just fine. Room was big and bed was so comfy. Cute place, good value.

After catching a 7 a.m. flight and making the 3 hour drive from Dallas, the following conversation took place:
Front Desk: We can’t find your reservation.
Weary Guest: OK, well do you have any rooms?
FD: I’m sorry but we only have KING Jacuzzi Suites (said in the tone of voice which implied these are very expensive suites which you could never afford.)
WG: How much?
FD: ONE HUNDRED NINETEEEEEEEN DOLLARS… do you want me to call down the street to see if they have rooms?
WG: No, I think I can swing it.
It wasn’t the Ritz but its the nicest place in town and affordable — even the «suites». They also serve a decent free breakfast.
