I would not recommend this location of andora to anyone. The service is poor and the food is not worth the money you are paying. We ordered calamari and it was pretty much just fried bread. Also, we waited on our food for about an hour on a dead quiet night on a Friday(I was wondering why there was no one there on a Friday night). Now I can see why this place has little customers. We got our waters filled once in the hour we sat there. And the worst part is that I went for my birthday, kinda put a damper on our night for the poorness of this restaurant.

Family from NY, California and Butler converged here for a table of 6. Despite assurances on the website, the menu was quite limited and had zero vegetarian options. I politely asked the waitress if they could do something, and after consulting with kitchen, their big suggestion was a plate of mashed potatoes and green beans. Right. That’s what vegetarians eat. After the rest of the party expressed disappointment that the menu was far more limited than advertised, we left.

I was super skeptical about Andora, as i was invited for a retirement party. That is to say, as a gluten free individual, the lack of input in restaurant selection is sometimes intimidating. The restaurant was excellent and I was able to eat a filet mignon with veggies. At the end of the meal they even brought out a wonderful chocolate cake/torte thing. It was wonderful, gluten free and made everyone at the table jealous. The wait staff was courteous, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to let me know that they were really going to make sure that no contamination would occur. I really appreciated the effort and would definitely come back, even if it is a bit far from Pittsburgh. Maybe I’ll have to consider this place for my next date night! Also, they have a backroom which makes it pretty ideal for group events.

Disappointing at any price. Slow, inattentive service, expensive for the quality and portion size of food, and warm beer.

Food was just ok for the price. I think you would be better spending your money elsewhere for the cost.

I was excited to finally try this place, but I was so let down. My friends and I came here for our annual Christmas party because we thought it was a nice place and it’s everyone’s first time trying it. The place looked nice inside. We got a few appetizers and salads. The korean shrimp was OK at first bite, but then it became too salty the more you eat it. Some of my friends ordered the brussel sprout salad and they didn’t enjoy it either because it was too sweet. For my entrée, I had the seared scallops with risotto and asparagus. The asparagus was inedibly salty. The scallops were great but I only had 4 of them(for $ 27). One of my friends was served a raw pork tenderloin. I mean this thing was raw! She sent it back and it was still raw! She ended up eating mashed potato for dinner. My other friend had a raw filet mignon when he wanted medium rare. He sent it back, and it came back well done! My friends are by no means picky, and we even talked about never sending back food to the kitchen, but it was desperately needed in this case. Our server was another sad story. She was not attentive. She was rude. She didn’t refill our water, which was needed after all the salt. My hubby and friends had to wait for their cocktails for 15 mins every time they needed one. They were not busy at all. She was not busy because I saw her just standing around when I went to the bathroom. She didn’t even ask us if we wanted dessert. She just handed us our checks, and she mixed them up so that we had random items on our checks. I cannot recommend this to anyone and I will never go back. We all had the same consensus. In fact, one of my friends’ co-worker was surprised she wanted to go to this restaurant. Apparently, other people had bad experiences.

What has happened to Andora’s? We never had a bad meal at the Sewickley location but this is the third visit to Adams(which is much closer to where we live) and each time we dine there it is worse. We took guests for dinner on a Wednesday evening around 7:30pm. We were the only patrons in the dining room. Our waitress was very unprofessional. When we inquired about preparing a dish without salt(one of our guests is on a sodium restricted diet) she looked befuddled saying«well maybe I can ask the chef if he can change it». REALLY? After serving the salads, I asked for fresh cracked pepper(which was always offered previously) and she brought it but only ground the pepper on my salad and then quickly left the table without even offering it to the other guests. How embarrassing! There were 2 orders of the horseradish crusted cod which arrived lukewarm and were placed haphazardly on a white plate. The presentation was awful not to mention I couldn’t figure out where the mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were hiding in this dish. I hope they can do something about the service and menu in the near future. Everything seems to need a major overhaul. We were ardent patrons of Andorra’s but I have no desire to return unless I hear things have changed.

This has become our favorite outdoor place to go after church. The patio is so relaxing with the fountain and trees. The atmosphere feels like you’re on vacation. The food is consistently good. Today was no exception. When they offer bread, always say yes! It is a wonderful crusty variety that comes alive in the dipping oil. The chicken croissant is my go to when I can’t decide. It is delightful, the fries crisp and flavorful. The vegetable soup was hearty with tender chunks of beef. I’ve enjoyed the crab cakes on previous visits. They are packed with crab meat, yum! The cheesecake is fantastic! And, the service is always great. Courtney took great care of us today and I just want to give her a thumbs up!

Awesome food– not skimpy on portions, and the best part HANDSDOWN was the service. We had Caitlyn(spelling?), and she was amazing– personable, knowledgable about the menu, and accommodating to my party. Friendly staff, great food– we will be back! A+

I went there for the first and last time on Saturday night. I ordered the cod without the cream sauce. After a long wait, the server brought me my cod, topped with sauce. The chef put it on anyway, is that okay with you? I politely asked for a piece without sauce. By the time they got my dinner to me, my partner had finished her dinner. My first few bites were fine but as I got toward the center of the filet the fish was totally raw. When the server saw that most of my fish was uneaten he asked if there were a problem. I showed him the fish was raw. He shrugged and said that he hoped the rest of my evening went better. No offer to adjust the bill. No apology for serving raw fish.

The only thing I ate was my mashed potatoes, because I was starving and had to. I expected this place to be pretty good even after I read all the bad reviews… but it was terrible. Our waiter was very awkward and not professional whatsoever. We were going to order the zucchini and he told us not to because it wasn’t good. I ordered the pork tenderloin which looked like nothing I have ever seen before. I order pork a lot, and this was just plain weird looking. I took one little rubbery bite and was so grossed out I didn’t even want to look at it. My one girlfriend ordered the filet which was way over cooked, actually burnt, and not good. My other girlfriend ordered the veal medallions which came out 15 minutes late because he said the cook over cooked them and acted like he did us a favor. She described her veal as «not terrible». So, all and all, it was an awful experience for a lot of money.

While somewhat unassuming from the outside, Andora’s is worth a trip. There is a large bar area plus a couple of dining rooms. The menu offers a number entrees with unique combos, such as chicken covered in cheese. Or pasta with goat cheese & chicken. The house salad was great. Finally, our server, Amanda was first rate.

Still without a fridge, we decided to stay local and hit up a local restaurant for lunch. Andorra is in the old«Stone Peppers» location off 228. The inside is large and spacious with a great big open bar. They have a decent amount of outdoor seating, maybe 20 tables. Some tables are located in the shade(under a pergola looking structure) and some are in the sun with some umbrellas. Our server today was really friendly and really efficient. She new the specials from memory and was very attentive without being overbearing. That is a huge plus. Good not ask for better service. The food was fine. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad either. I had the Ahi Tuna salad and my blonde partner in crime had the chicken salad(yea, we are SO healthy). The Ahi Tuna was cooked nicely and my wife enjoyed her chicken salad. The prices seemed a little high for lunch to me. Overall a decent spot. Good service and decent food. Not sure I would seek out this place in the future, but would not be opposed to going again.

Had a crabcake salad that came out on a small cracker/appetizer plate. I paid over 15.00 for ONE small crabcake on some lettuce. Nothing special or spectacular and actually rather bland. Needles to say I left here hungry. Totally overpriced(I guess they want you to pay for the atmosphere?) and had very slow service even though we came for lunch and the restaurant was not busy at all. There are plenty of better places in the Seven Fields area to go out for a nice lunch. Take your money elsewhere!

I came here after my parents told me how AMAZING this restaurant was, and it was a pretty big letdown — maybe my expectations were just too high. It’s really a shame because the waitstaff was super friendly and attentive. I went with a friend for dinner and ordered two apps to start: the crispy calamari & zucchini ribbons rolled with three cheeses. The food was lukewarm and super oily. The zucchini ribbons actually made me nauseous. The accompanying sweet pepper cream sauce was just TOO much. I was disappointed because that app is apparently one of their most popular dishes. Anywho, I was unhappy with the meal thus far but I had high hopes for my entrée because my mom RAVED about the seared scallops. Although my scallops were cooked well, the soy sesame glaze was unnaturally sweet and the texture was really unappetizing. The seven pepper risotto was mediocre at best. I definitely will not be coming back here because there are much better restaurants in the area.

The new Andora location in Adams is a much better addition than the Stone Peppers it replaced. We’ve dined at Andora’s Mt. Nebo location previously. This is another occasion where I wish I could give a 3.5 star rating. We dined here with our neighbors and had a very pleasant dining experience. Service was really good & attentive. We ordered a 2nd appetizer because our waiter informed us it was happy hour & all the appetizers were $ 5, even though we eating in the dining room not the bar. We started with the zucchini & calamari. Both were ok, not stellar. The zucchini was rolled up with cheese in the center served with a somewhat bland sauce and the calamari was prepared pretty well but then served with a super sweet sauce that didn’t quite work. I ordered the beet salad and forgot to ask for dressing on the side so I take partial responsibility here. The salad was served drowned in balsamic dressing. After picking at the top of the salad, the rest was completely swimming. It was a shame because it had the potential to be an excellent salad. My entrée was scallops with risotto and asparagus which was done very well and quite delicious with an Asian sauce. My husband ordered the cod, my neighbors got the crab cakes & the Hawaiian fish off the specials menu and all said they enjoyed their dinners. Entrees range from low $ 20’s to $ 30’s with salads al a carte. Overall I liked the restaurant and will return.

I’ve eaten at the Sewickley location a few times over the years and liked it ok so I was excited to hear that Andora was taking over the space occupied previously by Stone Peppers Grill(which I did NOT like). We went a few weeks after they opened hoping that all the bugs associated with the start up would be worked out and, for the most part, I believe they were. Although, our waiter(who the 2 ladies at my table thought was cute) had to go check on a few things when questioned. And he didn’t really tell us the correct info about the happy hour(appetizers are NOT included if you’re in the restaurant despite what he said) but other than that he was attentive and very good. The calamari appetizer was above average and quite tasty. The rolled zucchini ribbons stuffed with three cheeses was ok but not something I’d order again as a matter of personal preference. The prior reviewer’s comments about pricing are slightly exaggerated but this is on the higher end price wise. I don’t mind paying if the food is really good. I ordered the horseradish encrusted alaskan cod which was cooked properly even though I saw no evidence of horseradish encrustation. That was less than $ 20. My wife had the seared scallops which were also cooked correctly and tasty. She loved them, I was just ok with them. They were $ 25. The crab cakes looked amazing and our dining companion wasted no time putting those away — they are $ 29. So its not an inexpensive place to eat but it’s not outrageous. I was disappointed in the draft beer selection and had to compromise again. With that many taps, I’d like to see some craft beer available. It’s ok, not great. The impression I’m left with is that the atmosphere there doesn’t lend itself to spending that kind of money for dinner.
