Who would expect to find a delightful little café hidden downstairs in the public library in Marquette, Michigan? As we were playing on the internet upstairs in the library, we kept getting wafts of wonderful-smelling food. WTF? Tu Kaluthia was the source, and we had to try a bowl of chicken and dumpling soup, Greek noodles, and Moroccan mint tea. My taste buds still have orgasms when I think of how good that soup was(OhOhOhhhh!). I mean it was the best chicken and dumpling soup I ever have had! The greek noodles dish was quite tasty as well, with feta cheese and kalamata olives. The pasta tasted homemade and was cooked perfectly al dente. The chunks of foccacia bread also were a nice complement. The gal behind the counter was very accommodating and even though she was handling the line of people by herself, the service was very nice. Best part? $ 10 for both of us. Bye bye chain restaurants! Bye bye Styrofoam dishes! Hello Tu Kaluthia.
