Hit or miss. I’ve been multiple times and the food is either bland or spectacular. The service and staff are what keep us coming back, not to mention BYOB is really nice. I would recommend sitting in rather than taking out. Good luck on your 50⁄50 chance.

I eat here quite frequently. The food is decent and the service is good. Their sushi is always fresh, but definitely inconsistent. They last few times, all of my sushi rolls fell apart. Also, they try to be an upscale restaurant… offering the cheapest quality of wood chopsticks is not ideal for the price. Unfortunately, it’s the only local place for sushi/sashimi. Their Chinese food is not as good as Island Shore or Fai’s, but they offer a nice variety of items.

Great food but on the pricier side. Well worth the money. Friendly staff and BYOB. Not a ton of seating so times have to wait for a table.

This is the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. Really fresh and perfectly cooked rice. Very happy with the love boat! First time trying octopus… yum!

This place is really good. The sushi is fresh and holds together just right. The lunch specials are a really good value and they offer Japanese, Chinese, and Thai varieties. Ambience is really nice and peaceful when it’s not too crowded, but if too many people are there you might have to share a bench with strangers.

Very disappointed. Had take out very basic take out. First wonton soup, nice noddles but very salty broth. Egg roll chewy. Their scollop not so good.

We enjoy the food very much every time we eat there which is often but the service is absolutely awful! The last three times we’ve been there we waited at least 20mins to be seated then another 20 mins to place a soda order but the place was packed! The waiters don’t come back to ask how everything is or if you need anything and at our last visit when we stopped him to ask for water and then later sugar he gave us a face and attitude that made us feel as if we were inconveniencing him! Very rude! We were a party of 4 the last time we were there and we ordered their fabulous tea. Our youngest son decided after the tea was served that he wanted a cup. We stopped the waiter, an unpleasant experience, to ask for another cup. He brought another whole pot of tea and charged us for it saying tea is only for 3 people, 4 people must have 2 pots! It’s their policy! Seriously? Moreover, if you want to order one of their combination meals you can only get them to go. The restaurant is very small and on a weekend night it is packed. So in short, food is excellent, facility is cute and clean but not big enough and the servers are rude and nasty. We will go back because the food is worth putting up with the awful wait staff and ridiculous policies but we will take lots of wine with us! We hope the management will see this and consider making changes.

Went here for a lovely, casual dinner with family. Everything we ate was delicious, and we loved that it was a BYO. The space was very nice too. Packed on an off season(late October) Saturday night, so make a reservation if you plan to dine in. We especially liked the Panang chicken.

We went here a few weeks ago and I’m still thinking about my delicious meal. We started with some tuna sashimi and edamame. The sashimi wasn’t the best I’ve had, but was still good quality. My boyfriend loved the edamame. I ordered a shrimp dish that was fantastic — well — the shrimp was fantastic. So fresh, cooked absolutely perfectly! I can’t remember the last time I had better shrimp, and I’m really picky. The shrimp came with udon noodles, which aren’t my favorite, but the flavor was really great. I don’t even remember what my boyfriend got because I was so wrapped up in my meal, but I know he enjoyed it. Interior of the restaurant isn’t very large, and was packed when we were there. Nice and clean inside with attentive staff. We’ll definitely go back.

This place is good for the Jersey shore. Not the BEST asian food I have had, but it does exceed my expectations. Only real complaint: THESERVICEISSOSLOW! Our waiter came to the table maybe 3 times…2 calling him over. Overall– decent food, decent price.

I’ve been here twice and have really enjoyed it so far. My vegetarian family of four could all find something delicious and different from each others on the menu. I had the veggie tempura app and veg. Sushi special that comes with miso and green salad. Delish AND beautiful! Very small and intimate, so maybe make reservations for dinner of a larger party:)

Service is lousy. Food is very good. General Tso’s and chicken and broccoli are excellent. Dim sum platter is a joke. Big dish, no food. Rushed us out so they could go home. Very rude. The saving grace is the good food and the good price. Beware your check comes in Chinese so you really don’t know how much you spent.

Great asian fusion restaurant. Shared a sushi for two platter and it was delicious and very fresh. The last time I went I tried their Chicken Pad Thai and it’s my new favorite! The restaurant itself is pretty small, but it has a very relaxing and quiet environment. It’s definitely not the best place to bring younger children. The only thing I would change would be to simplify menu. It’s easy to get overwhelmed looking through it.

This place is so good it’s frustrating. Let me explain. The food is fabulous. The sushi is fresh, the dinner specials(especially Penang shrimp!) and value are second to none in our small town. I take my wife and the bill is never over 50 bucks and it’s BYOB. The problem, is the service. Almost every time we go something happens. Last time they didn’t fill up my water the entire time I sat there despite a request. Another time my dinner came without the soup and salad I ordered so I got all three at the same time. If they hired one more waiter this place would be a 5! The owner is so nice too. Had lunch here once and the bento box was awesome! Such a good deal. If you go with a bottle of wine, take your time, and keep your expectations for service low, you’ll have a great time!

What a complete a-hole. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted and I had a few questions about one item on the menu and I basically just got yelled at and told to look at the menu again and call back. Oh and let me add, I was looking at a menu using the internet on my cell phone, so while calling I did not have a menu in front of me. Asshole.

Good sushi and the Chinese food is above your usual take-out joint. The sushi isn’t terribly exotic but it’s always fresh.

This place is really awesome looking inside. Nice ambiance. The kani salad is awful. The sauce is very different than any sauce I’ve had on a kani salad before and is not to my tastes. The salmon skin roll was soggy, but their special roll with banana was out of this world good. Prices are reasonable.

A sushi craving at the Jersey shore led us to Tokyo Mandarin. I can only speak to the Japanese options on the menu. The menu is pretty basic nothing adventurous or unique. We sampled the seaweed salad, spicy tuna, philly roll, godzilla roll, tuna sashimi and sea scallop sashimi. Overall the meal was typical, nothing amazing nothing awful… Everything was fresh and compared to the area competition its great, but doesn’t measure up to other sushi experiences I’ve had. If you’re in Ocean City looking for sushi its worth crossing the bridge!
