I have had other stylists since I moved back to NJ, but I wasnt happy until I found Josh. He does a great job on my hair! He never pushes product, but if I ask about what product I should use, he recommends what he thinks it’s best for what I need. Josh also came to my rescue when my husband took my 15 yr old son to a terrible chain salon, 2 days before school pics. My son was devestated and didn’t want that lady touching his hair again. My son’s hair was terrible, from the other place, and Josh fixed us right up, my son doesn’t want to go anywhere else now! Now I can’t leave out the awesome nail tech, Michele. She offers a nail/​spa package that is amazing. She’s very gentle and awesome! I haven’t gone elsewhere since I found them. You won’t be disappointed.

I have to give credit where credit is due! This place is great. I came here from a referral from a lady from the Aveda store in Cherry Hill. I move often and find it difficult to find a stylist I like. Missy is amazing and talented! She has cut and colored my hair and has done an amazing job. I’m VERY picky about my hair and she listens to every detail. This place is such a hidden gem!

I love The Lion’s Mane Salon. I drive from Maryland to get my haircuts and keratin treatments by Josh. He never tries to push products or try to sell you products that you don’t need. The salon has a clean, warm and friendly atmosphere on two different levels. Michelle gives fabulous pedicures in massage chairs. They also provide makeup services. I don’t color my hair but I have watched women leave with fabulous highlights and color corrections done by Josh and Missy. I highly recommend The Lion’s Mane Salon.

Finally found my salon in NJ. I’ve tried a few places over the past year since moving here but never fit just right. Thanks to a friends referral and her faith in the owner, Josh, I found The Lion’s Mane Salon. He did everything I requested for my ombré color & long layers. The salon is beautifully done — nicely lit, clean, open, and relaxing. There is a nail salon on the second floor with full massage chairs (score!). Highly recommended from someone who has gone through the heartache of finding a new stylist after moving! :)

The Lion’s Mane is an awesome salon. Missy and Josh are both excellent stylists.
I am so excited that they have opened this salon on their own and have followed them from their previous salon. Missy is wonderful. My hair has never looked better. The color and cut are perfect.
Michelle is a great manicurist. The manicure/​pedicure area is upstairs where it is quiet and relaxing. Such a welcome change from the noisy nail salons.
The salon is beautiful and inviting, the stylists are talented and the Aveda products are the best!

Fantastic! Missy is a genius! I was in town for business and needed color and new style done. Searched for an Aveda salon on Unilocal and found Lion’s Mane. I could not be happier with my cut and color. Full highlights and low lights plus cut. This salon is one of the best I’ve gone to. I will definitely be back!

Hands down the best salon in the area. Josh is an incredibly well-​trained and talented hair stylist. I love being able to go in and bounce ideas off of him, and then confidently let him go to work creating my dream ‘do.’
The salon is beautiful and very comfortable. Truly it feels just like home with all of the amenities and comfy chairs.
While I haven’t had a manicure there myself, Michelle’s work is absolutely beautiful! Overall, you can’t go wrong with a visit to The Lion’s Mane!

The newest Aveda salon in the area The Lions Mane is owned and operated by one of the most talented stylists I have ever met. Considering I’ve lived in 3 different states, that is no small feat. Joshs’ cuts are so good they still style perfectly 5 – 6 weeks later. His color talent is impressive to say the least. His associate Missy is incredibly talented as well. You should make an appointment and the. You’ll know what I’m talking about!
